The freckles make her a hundred times cuter and were an amazing choice. They increase my urge to hug rather than do anything, you know, that I'd usually do. Don't think it's anything anyone would have seen coming, but thus far it's fun for great lore implications and just the idea of DK with little thing.
I was initially thinking of how Roll might look in her attire, until realized that red dress is literally her first look. Maybe an official reveal would give us a better look.

Both Rock and Roll where originally just made to help Light around the lab with random chores. But once Dr Wily went rogue and took off with the original Robot Masters, Dr Light converted Rock into the Mega Man we know today in order to fight them.

The only issue is that the platformer stages, outside of the co-op stages, are rather short. The Co-op mod returns those stages though if you're really eager to do what would be a 'full' sized megaman stage not broken up into 6 segments because mobile format.

It is the platforming ones, just you get 'Battle Power' and you have skills and two weapons you can swap between. Character passives end up being a big factor on a lot of things. Stages are also kinda short because it was made to be 'picked up and played' on a phone. Honestly if not for it's base release lacking in the colab stuff and the status of Swimsuit Roll out of the box it would have been fine for a Switch release, you can get mods working on steam deck but don't go asking me on how.

It's fun enough. Not as good as a mainline Megaman game of course, think of it like a spinoff quality game.

Easter Roll is legit one of the best characters in the game by far. I like torturing myself with Halloween Aile though.

I think chronological is fine, but 1 2 and 3 are all kind of rough around the edges for different reasons. Coincidentally, 4 5 and 6 get pretty underrated if you ask me. The Game Boy games are also worth checking out too.

4-7 are pretty good, and I'd say 7 if you can get pass 'big sprites' is chances are the most fun out of those at that. 9/10 expect you to already 'know' Megaman, and 8 looks good but it's a clusterfuck.

1&2, with 4&5 are your best bets. Really playing 1 or 4 first and then the others would be the best route, 2 really is best after playing 1 or 4, and 5 is if you want more after that. 3 and 6 both are really fucked up for a number of reasons, with 7&8 just being terrible.
Zero/ZX
Zero 3, and ZXAdvent. Play the other if you enjoy those, but Zero 1 is extremely brutal with the small screen, Zero 2 is 'better', yet only so much so. Zero 4 is good but not a good 'starting' game. and ZX is just clunky all around including with the fucking map traveling.
Yeah, I had a bit of attachment to First Armor X, I played that game so much as a kid.
But he sucks donkey dick anywhere that's not normal mode. Gotta pick the big titty op chars like Eratoeir of Swimsuit iCO to beat those cheap levels.
Zero 3 kind of spoils the previous games pretty hard, if you care about that stuff, while it isn't really as big of a concern in the other series.

I love how Eratoeir was so fucking good all you needed was her at 1 star and you just beat the game. Most other characters need 4 or 5 stars to have most of their passives unlocked and full card list so they can actually be good. She on the other hand just could stand in front of the old raid bosses all day and outheal them.
But Offline for sure lets you just go ham with the lesser characters, including that the overall Battle Power for stages got reduced next to what they where with Online. Beating Jacob's Normal with even Super Megaman isn't as painful as you'd think as a result. Hard though still can be a touch hard to make the bad characters work without giving them the best weapons, but I even got White Tron working with some just -ok- stuff so I feel like if you put enough into card combos, and use the mod to return RDNA features to get a bit more stats onto characters you can still make your favs work, and it's near painless resource wise at that. Offline for all of it's faults really isn't 'grind heavy' by any measure. You can beat the main 20 chapters in like ~10 hours while doing side stuff here and there to unlock event units/weapons/cards, and then it's just Jacob and achievements, so it's really down to what fun you want out of it.
