I have objectively above average sized hands for an adult male, and I fucking love how tiny and compact ds3 is. It's supposed to fit snugly inside your palm, and it does exactly that. You can also keep it lose in your hands and it's fucking comfy as hell. You're not supposed to hold it like a handle you dumb fuck.

no i did not buy a chink one, official battery in the back and everything; completely vetted that it was an official one, no connection issues. felt like a cheap toy
the late revision ds3 controller feel cheap and are quite shit, that's when sony started to cut corners on them. I can't say the same for the sixaxis or DS3s made between 2008-2010.

At this point, just graft a mechanical keyboard's arrow keys to the controller, because I genuinely don't know how else to improve controller dpads if the people being paid millions to do the same are incapable of figuring it out

Mechanical solution would be to unscrew your controller and clean it inside with a q-tip.
But I'm sure you can go into the controller options and set it there, some game even have that in their options.

There were more studios and publishers were less consolidated, so the concentration of worthless MBA consultants wasn't as lethal as it was after the mid-2000s.
The honeymoon period with CDs and DVDs instead of cartridges was also still going strong for publishers that thought that they could get infinite audience with near-zero production costs.
I used to hate it for how tiny it is, but now that I've actually gotten better at vidyas I've come to see it as a feature since it makes clawgrip or other grips easy as fuck. If someone just modded it to have a Sega D-Pad it would be perfect.

I fucking love the original gray too. At first I wanted to get a gray ds3, but I could only find a white one. Then kinda fell in love with the white ds3 anyway.
I already love how ds3 looks, and the white controller with the black/dark grey buttons are just so visually appealing, it's the perfect visual design in my eyes
