To be fair, a lot of older games were a bit less obvious. It is admittedly annoying that games either handhold you or have no clear objective now though.

Social Media has been the single biggest detriment to mankind. Humans, even introverted ones, like talking to others. Allowing a person a 24/7 talkbox though just leads to them doing nothing but talking with others and means they get nothing done. Many things now are also built around them, in a desperate attempt to get a bit of attention from talkboxers. I really hope advanced bots destroy social media so we can get back to doing things.

I used to train zoomers to be salespeople, The millennial salesmen would fuck around alot during work hours, go to the bar, etc...but we did that knowing we were already covered/ahead on our commissions.

So the first time I went out with one of these guys he said "fuck i just need some money", stopped the fucking car, pulled out his phone, and proceeded to play with it.
I said "Are we seeing anybody?" and he replied "I dont have shit"
Seeing as how its not my fucking problem, I just decided to sit there and make some calls while waiting for this guy to stop fucking himself over, but it never happened. Rinse and repeat for every single other zoomer we ever had, save for this one older zoomer who was there before I ever started.

This image really couldn't be further from the truth. I grew up on media older than me and continue to find new music, books and movies from before I was born that I enjoy.
I get nostalgic for the 2000s and especially enjoy a lot of video games from back then, but I've never believed it was a cultural apex for anything.
