For late/end game, the most important thing about a frame is what bonuses its Overdrive gives you, since weapons can be freely swapped around.

I don’t think it does, what’s on the bottom of the gear menu is minus button for Related Tips, hold down R to revert to base equipment, hold ZR to show/hide stats, and Y to favorite an item. Pressing the minus button to see the tips and going to the tip about augments, that tip doesn’t actually tell you how to equip an augment either

There's the "passive" side where you can kill enemies that have an "S" icon over them, and doing so gives you tickets. Other people in your squad doing so also gives you tickets so you get something just by being connected.
Then the active side requires you to go to the console in the barracks and accept missions there, those you can play with other players at the same time directly.

From how I think it worked, the universe dying severed Void's connection to the Vita until he followed Al to Mira. Getting to that initial 3000 TP before I can overdrive is annoying. Even worse sometimes he spams an evasion up move by the time I can in overdrive, which leaves me spamming my multihit moves missing and getting zero TP to extend and 0 combo to increase my damage.

Only real downside is that leveling up classes will get a bit harder until you can grind out the higher level enemies.
Since class EXP is based on the level difference with enemies of lower levels giving less.

the area just north of the mountain base in sylvalum has pugiliths that dop them more frequently than seidrs. however, the ganglion antropolis in cauldros has the highest-level pugiliths and can more easily drop the -60 series with the highest power. having neilnail or yourself use heroic tale might help by pushing them to level 60-61.

Large sizes can add stats that are equivalent to 10 levels or something. A lot more for their HP. Those tree colossus enemies can destroy you even when they are 5+ levels lower for example.
Watch what element their special attacks are so you don't get destroyed without protection.
