It's not hard to guess their project lineup when they want people's attention on that IP at the time, but it's hard to tell when the game will come out because of SE's greedy habit of milking the game too early.

Flesh out the likes of Freya and Amaranth. Give them lengthy side quests.
Straight up double boss HP. Make status ailments useful.
Completely revamp the card game.
You can now actually beat Beatrix in the third fight.

Memoria is just the memories of the planet and life, and you are essentially travelling back in time through them until the origin, which is the crystal.
The problem is that the game makes it like really complex. It states that "garnet memories arent hers, but zidanes" and it continues the idea of life tracing all back to one origin, which is what Kuja seeks to destroy and end everything. But then what? all that introduction and lore just to say "uhm, Kuja wants to kill everything"?
The problem is that all of these concepts felt kinda just rushed in to give the player an "epic" last dungeon but failed to fit in
it should have been something like the Iifa tree core/heart and killing the planet soul or something, but memoria came out of nowhere.

I hope they give her more screentime in a remake. I had such a crush on her when I first played FFIX.

It is extremely bizarre how they make her one of the most traumatized characters in the entire franchise, and then she just forgets about it and has some comic relief scenes with Amarant and that's basically it for the rest of the game. Everything that happened in Burmecia and Cleyra would have been just as tragic without Freya even being a playable character; she doesn't add anything to it, but she also gets no character development or resolution out of it either.

supposdely it is more strategic but 90% of turn based games arent that at all. Everyone knows exactly what to do immediately in every turn and they do it fast, but people pretend they take their sweet time taking their next turn because they are thinking or some shit.

But this is dumb because she gets back together with Fratley in the ending. Personally I think he's the one that needs more screen time, since he's supposed to be this legendary warrior and we never really find out what originally happened to him.
