I like playing a healer if it's fun to play.
But I was an MMO fiend for years, and in WoW most of the time you'd just cast one (1) spell repeatedly every encounter, with an emergency backup spell or two. Later in retail they spiced it up by maybe making it 2-3 spells and an occasional proc.

Fucking boring. Doesn't help that in a lot of other games (non-mmo's), the healer is just a cuck who hides beyond the guy who is actually having fun while holding down the heal ability.

Healer doesn't make you feel like a fag, it makes you play more reactive when players generally want to be more active when playing something that requires competition, either from AI or other people. It's like a boxer that only waits for the other guy to throw a punch so he can counterpunch.
