for the most part the voice acting isn't stilted, autistic anime cringe like FF7R.

Let's not go too far now. End of Act 2 kind of fucks everything over in a bad way. It's a real tough ask to simultaneously try to make me want to care about the characters from that point on while also repeatedly beating me over the head with the fact that none of them are even real in the first place. The soundtrack and presentation are too good to not see it through to the end at that point but I really disliked the angle they went with.
