She's the best girl to ever live. Simultaneously pure, but not a foreigner to the bloody fields of war. Noble, but humble before all. Willing to listen, but completely steadfast in her beliefs. Both a trailblazer and a staunch traditionalist. The paradoxical great-making qualities of humanity, all found within a single girl. There is no one else in history quite like her.
There is a good reason
I'd say that Alice represents escapism and returning to a more innocent time, while Jeanne is someone who represents duty and self-sacrifice.
I love Jeanne more than Alice.

Furthermore, Twain was quite the cynic who did not believe in God and disliked the Catholic Church. IIRC, he even coined the term "gilded age" to express his disdain towards the shallow prosperity he saw around him. Despite all of this, he still held Jeanne in the highest of regards.
Another author who adored her is Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes. Indeed, she is a very lovable figure in history. There's also no need to embellish her accomplishments or actions because they're all amazing on their own!

Schizophrenia has more symptoms than just visions and voices, and Jeanne never displayed any of them. While she was illiterate, she was very intelligent. She did her best to learn how to read and write during her off-time.
Charles also only allowed her to lead after a bunch of tests were done on her. It is true that the French nobles didn't care for her, though.
Regardless, none of that goes against what I stated earlier.

Text gets scrunched up and audio gets really crunchy, but the game played well on my phone for the most part.
The adoration people have for her is somewhat recent considering she's a well known 14th century figure, after she was burned at the stake she lost most of her appeal and even the post death "retrial" was political show-piece to exonerate the king. She regained interest in the 18th century alongside a lot of other chivalric and medieval figure in era of nationalism aggrandisement, it wasn't actually until the 19th where she was canonized as a saint.
Her retrial is also something that her mother tried to put into place for ~25 years.
IIRC, Napoleon used her in his propaganda. It's a shame that a lot of her relics were destroyed during the French Revolution.
That's unfortunately the sad fate that's often forgotten for a lot of well known historic figures, Coloumbus' family got stiffed in the deal they made with the Spanish Crown after they realised how much fucking money they could make in the New World and someone like Gutenberg who invented the printing press died destitute and obscurity
At the very least, the King kept his promise about not taxing Domremy, as did the kings that succeeded him.

There are few historical or literary women, especially ones who would make a noteworthy protagonist in a story. And so, the well-known ones get spammed all over the place. It's why every random female knight is Joan of Arc and why there's so many Alice in Wonderland references. It's just their excuse to post more cute girls.
Jeanne is very, very cute, though.
PSP Jeanne is notable because her VA is the same as Fate Jeanne. She was born to play Jeanne it seems.
Her English VA also voices Saber, amusingly enough.
Jeanne has a low, enthralling voice. The kind that is both soothing and commanding. How I'd love to hear her speak to me.
