What are the odds this flops after the initial launch? I wanted a Switch 2 so bad for so long, but Nintendo went full israeli mode with the pricing, not only the outdated hardware is expensive but the games are going to be MAD expensive.
They are also phasing out physical media using the pricing ($90), which is disheartning to me as someone who loves to collect physical games.

Honestly, the last piece to fall is for Sony to announce they are also going to release $80 games, but they could also have another "$299" moment if they announce no game on the PS5 or future consoles will be $80, but i doubt it. Feels bad, man.

Would be an improvement for them

But those are two games (that you could have bought separately and enjoy just as much, the PS4 remaster of 1 and original 2 were already great).

Tendies will eat this slip up like nutella. They have no values and must consume

it's just one game

Isn't it the PS5 remaster of 1 and 2 in a bundle?

Schizo post

Yes. It's two games for $50 each. Dont listen to the tendie

but the games are going to be MAD expensive.

frfr
my bitch mom won't even buy them for me ong
said i spent too much on vbucks already and i spend all my time on my phone anyway
what a cunt

No cap though OP is spitting. These games *are* MAD expensive.

using the pricing ($90)

Why are Snoy stil trying to push this lie? You could've had a decent concern trolling OP if you didn't immediately drop the mask like a retard

see someone complaining on nintendo's youtube or instagram

look at their profile

it's a hispanic person

I swear it's at least 80% of the time. It's kind of amazing honestly.

No it's one game

OP is a fucking retard that doesn't know shit

Nintendo Switch 2 supports mesh shaders, sampler feedback, VRS tier 2 and AV1 hardware decoding, all features that PS5 and PS5 Pro doesn't even support

Those are 55$ each. If you don't want to pay that price then get the original TLOU for 10$, the remake for 20$ and the sequel for another 20$
Bingtendo does not give you options with their games

Preorders to fanatics and scalpers means nothing, we'll know whether it's successful or not when the casual normalfags can get it as they're 97% of Nintendo's audience. We'll have a better idea by this holiday season.
PC is the only place left for vidya for anyone with a shred of self-respect.

I wanted a Switch 2 so bad for so long, but Nintendo went full israeli mode with the pricing

Sounds like you have many problems OP. I think you should consider finding a new hobby.

I love it when poor people expose themselves.

Might flop if Japanese games get hit with a 100% tariff like anime just got hit with. Then we can only play Blizzard and Bethesda games

Nintendo's hitting the nips with an over 50% increase in game prices and they were still sucking Nintendo's dick.

If you need to invent a new bullshit per thread that means you are losing

he doesn't know

Yeah, I'm losing my interest in Nintendo.

Is it a lie? For physical games, i mean. Everywhere it was being said that it was going to be $80 for digital and $90 for physical, why do people think everyone is trolling instead of giving the benefit of the doubt to someone who might be misinformed? lol

You american pay 450, we pay $800 for the same console if you convert it. I'm brazilian, for example, the price here is about R$4500, that's equal to 740 Drumpfs, my guy. Not only we live in a third world country, but we can't even escape to the digital world because everything is too expensive, ffs.

Not a lie at all, 90 bucks for physical in my country as well. Idk why people keep peddling this point so often when that's the fucking price, go check it on their website.
No, it's 90. Again I see this all the time, people claiming it's an exaggeration when it's not. I don't know how these people are so out of the loop on this, either that or it's tendies on damage control.

People bought up the PS5 like crazy and it had no games

As someone said yesterday, the most likely scenario is the same as with the PS3, which despite being successful, failed to replicate the success of the PS2.
But I personally think that the Switch 2 will fail if Nintendo doesn't curb the use of game key cards in the West. 256GB of storage memory is nothing for modern games, which makes the Switch 2 unsuitable for those who use exclusively digital games. But if physical games also need to be installed (as has already been proven to be the case in Japan), then the device will be unsuitable for ANY type of game. People will start to get very frustrated when they find out that in order to play a physical game, they have to delete a 70GB game and then download another 70GB. A lot of people will start to realize that the device simply isn't usable because of this.
And to make matters worse, memory expansion is expensive, and even the largest express SD cards available are still not enough for exclusively digital use.

ps3

succesful

Weird how so many zoomers think it was relased with tlou and the years before dont count, especially the net opperating loss

or it's tendies on damage control.

It's this and thinking US prices are the only prices. Basically, they're bootlicking retards as always.

Not a fucking chance. Judging by how fast they sold out when pre orders went live, it's probably going to become the fastest selling console ever.

Wii U sold out instantly.

Hype is too big for it to be anything other than a raging success the first year, maybe second. But, both DK and MKW look very underwhelming, there are 360 games that do the same thing and look better (like Forza Horizon, for the retard drones).

Next gen consoles are going all in on RT and pathtracing, so this console will be extremely dated in comparison and I think that’ll hurt Nintendo at the ridiculous prices they’re asking. Honestly, as I watched the reveal trailer I was amazed that literally everything about that console is an obstacle. Want to use voice chat button? Pay a subscription. Want to play your 8 year oldgames in 4K? That’ll be $80, no DLC. Want to buy third party? Be happy with game key cards. Want to read the manual? That’ll be $10. And that’s after a $450 PS4 with $80 games. It’s such a shitty launch, I literally lost all interest after the trailer and I’ve evety single Nintendo console at launch, even the Virtual Boy.

A sony executive was fired recently

Go look up the wiiu lifetime sales and sw2 preorders numbers globally

We'll see if Nintendo will actually implement $80 new games or not. I guess Donkey Kong to them isn't a "priority" title, but what about games like Smash Bros?

The seething and the malding has already started and the Switch 2 isn't even out yet. Switch 1 to Switch 2 will be like PS1 to PS2. Switch 2 will sell over 210 million consoles or more. Get ready for assrape.

What are the odds this flops after the initial launch?

Relax. I get being disappointed that the majority of consumers (seemingly) disagree with your take on Nintendo / Switch 2, but you have to remember that you aren’t forced to purchase. And you refusal to purchase will very likely fail to accomplish anything other than personal satisfaction, assuming you truly find the direction of the console to be unacceptable.

There has never been a better time to swap to PC, and if you already have a good PC setup, don’t sweat having to wait a few extra years to play a handful of Nintendo games. There’s no reason to really care if the product / company does well.

It has 100% improved compatibility on old games, it cant have a weak start, or even week first 2 years.

.Or perhaps it’s a fabricated marketing tactic one shamelessly employed by brands and movie studios alike.
The strategy is simple: they secretly buy their own products in bulk until inventory hits "sold out,’ manufacturing artificial hype to shatter sales records and lure in unsuspecting customers.but the real masters of this deception? The film industry.production companies and theater chains routinely buy up all available seats for a movie’s premiere, creating the illusion of unprecedented demand. When audiences see ‘house full’ screenings, they assume the film is a must-see event and by the next day, crowds are lining up to watch what they believe is the hottest ticket in town.
A brilliant scheme? Maybe. Ethical? Hardly.
t., a Anon Babbletard who studied marketing as a hobby
and also used this tactic in my bookshop which kinda worked to sell goyslop novels or mangas.

All we know is 2.2 in japan where it's way cheaper are nips are braindead consoomers

Of course it is and with how journos 69 the industry they're supposed to hold accountable, it's obvious it's a hype and marketing tactic. Journos were all reporting on how the wiiu sold out instantly and how nintendo had a massive hit on their hands back then too.
