Genuinely don't remember that game at all. I had demo discs with like fusion frenzy, oddworld and morrowind on them. I mostly played rainbow six 3 and halo 2 on og xbox live before the 360 released. I remember having a lot of people on my friend list who played PSO but I had no clue what it was at the time and didn't care that much but in retrospect I wish I'd experienced it.

Early models had this issue yes but it was fixed in the revisions and these consoles are still solid compared to the PS3 which feels cheap and is loud.
