1. You are able to enable PT, which is barely the case for 5090 if you can stomach unstable 30fps
2. The said algo lighting is UE5 niggerslop implementation if RT called lumen and enabling actual RT is beneficial BECAUSE it disables lumen
Other than that, every game will have better algorithmic lighting than RT and to be honest the only proper showcase of technology is femV slutposts from cp2077 photomode with custom lighting sources setup

RDNA4 has been a good competitor for much of the NV 5000 series, especially given the massive amount of fuckups in technical, pricing, and availability. I'm hoping UDNA is great, but at the earliest the rumors say PRODUCTION of the chips start in Q2 2026, so we're looking at probably Q4 delivery at the earliest. In the meantime, RDNA4's installed base means wider benefits and support for open technologies, FSR4 and the various compute/AI tech etc..that can be also used by UDNA when it arrives.

Right now all we have are rumors and its over a year out at best. It wouldn't be the first time that someone proposed that another generation of GPUs would be the savior and things fell short. If we want UDNA to have the strongest possible showing and wide support for the AMD-preferring open technologies, then people buying 9070XT s now can only help that. The response of so many 9070 / XT sales so far has meant faster rollout for FSR4 native as opposed to requiring driver fuckery, and lots of FOSS AI development on ROCm and other stuff . NV has the lead and many projects were made only with NV's tech (ie CUDA ) in mind, but the more AMD GPUs out there with open alternatives, the better things will be set up for when UDNA arrives. If someone has a brand new GPU already and wasn't planning on buying one until a year or two down the road sure, wait for UDNA but if someone need something sooner for performance, then getting RDNA4 is a good idea it appears , unless you absolutely needed and wanted to pay for a 5090 (which is the only worthwhile NV card this generation, for all its problems).

You see when your sampling rate is too low, you tend to lose information in your resultant image and that causes the image to look "rough". This is aliasing. You need to downsize the image, pass them through low pass filters and then upscale them back to remove this aliasing. That is anti aliasing.
