I've quit most of the gachas I've played, the cycle of daily quests and timegated content was too much, you miss a few days and then you're permanently out of the loop, the games are good but they're designed for FOMO and constant attention.

Nikke is possibly the last gacha I'll ever play, and I've been sticking with it for 2,5 years now, the story is so incredible and gripping that I want to see it to the end, or at least a point where I am satisfied with quitting.

Sometimes jerking off to a game I haven't played leads me to end up playing that game (ZZZ). And now I'm hooked. But thankfully I have not put any money down into this game yet

Silence, kuroshill. Kuro makes a pretty good game in wuwa, but they turned heel ever since 2.0 got them success. Censoring the game for the sake of the age rating I can accept, but not the way they tried to sneak it in without anyone noticing, and then gaslighting when caught. They are untrustworthy.

Biggest problem with ZZZ is that they didn't commit to a plan ever since their original vision(TV mode) got scrapped. So I hope that whathever they're planning in 2.0 is something that they actually stick with instead of scrapping it immediatly like they did with TV mode and the bangboo exploration that replaced the TVs in 1.4. And additionaly that they don't speedrun an entire story arc like they did with 1.4's story, Astra/Eve's arc in 1.5 and Anby's story in 1.6.

Currently Genshin and Nikke. I've previously played FFBE, FFRK, FFOO, FFWOTV and the disgaea one but dropped them all before their EOS announcements thankfully. I dabbled a bit in the JP version of the disgaea one, but I was wasting too much time on it and not on real games. Was fun tho.

What kind of an answer are you looking for? Because I can't sell you on something that I personally find interesting. I don't know you, I don't know what you like, what would I have to say for you to become interested or lose interest?
I love the storytelling and setting, humanity has been driven underground by these biomechanic monsters that seem like mindless beasts but there's more to them, normal humans are no use against the monsters, so humans have created these android bodies into which they plant human brains and it's a fight to reclaim the surface back from an endless tide of these monsters. Really can't go into details without immediate spoilers.
And what makes it relatable, is not simply the overarching fight, but all the drama amongst humans and the androids, they're not just fighting monsters here, but each other.
Things keep getting interesting with every new update and thus far it hasn't slowed down.

The shotting gallery gameplay is so-so, it just acts as a vehicle to get you through the story. If you want gameplay out of it, the devs are crazy and make fully fledged games within Nikke as "minigames", all of it can be played even if you missed the event where it was introduced, you can even play past events for most of the rewards, nothing is gated from you even if you start years later.

ZZZ HAD to scrap the tv mode because almost nobody liked it, and keeping it would have killed the game. They should have had a backup idea for that case. So yeah hopefully 2.0 provides a good backup idea they can stick with
