MORROWINDCHADS KEEP EATING GOOD EDITION

WE CANT STOP WINNING

IMG_6756.jpg - 968x1024, 162.62K

Yes passwall the spell is in, yes it works.

cool
i was just about to make another thread
holy fuck this site is gay tho
fucking 300sec new thread cooldown
fuck ur mother

morrowincel.png - 808x1080, 1.75M

passwall the spell is in

Give spell location.

in openmw too?

but can you just buy it?
or is it a quest thing?
im just a thief man i can barely cast a light spell

why are they overhauling the 2022 again?

Morrowind? More like BOREowind!

billy.jpg - 1280x720, 70.7K

Because they are gay

It's the reward for the Narsis MG questline.

What's next?

Look, he's smiling!

Wealth Beyond Measure.

erhm sis?

no other way to get the spell effect?
fuck that blows
i aint joining no fucking mages guild okay?
i take shit. its what i do

It's a lost spell for a good reason.

they're including Privateer's Hold

but not Gothway Garden, the de facto starting town

I am irked

its actually poison song

TR Necrom looks cool, but does it have player housing and good quests?

i know
you think i cant open a door?
of course i can
i can even lock it back up

i just want it for the meems
DELETing walls/doors sounds too fun

That tiny island in the bottom right seems empty. Maybe I missed something.

spinoff projects which will inevitably be abandoned or picked up in 40 years after the rest of Tamriel is done

Go to the island in the top East corner.

shit's like 45 years away, its got plenty of room for chance

the red area are in the game btw if new people are wondering. They are just updating it for the future

only the cyrodill and skyrim are alive atm besides morrowind

man whenever i look at the illiac outside of DF i feel like my heads on crooked

also
after all the time ive spent chilling in the illiac, itll feel so weird to just be able to walk from daggerfall to anticlere, and not have it take like a week
so smol

also also
are they gonna put in mount tigonis?
doesnt look like it
lame
tho the one in-game is admittedly a bit retarded and clearly a programming error/glitch

The MC is NOT Indoril Nerevar because the real Nerevar was a cuck

this is canon nerevar btw also

IMG_6752.jpg - 1206x1913, 2.02M

Poison song so house indoril stuff.

ha
fucking hlaalu and even indoril get full ass expansions before redoran
git rekt redoranerds

Eh. Apparently the plan is that when they finish all of morrowind they want to go back and redo most of eastern morrowind.

do I have to specialize in end to get the bonus points on level up?

i'm a morrowind virgin, should i first play vanilla morrowind and finish it all, or will i enter a wonderland like nothing else if i start with this expansion mod from the very get-go?

how do the 2006-2008 area feel compared to newer ones?

dont worry about it kitten

Do you like ROCKS!?

Modern ones feel like something you'd expect from a full game or DLC
Older ones feel like fun project

It's better to do a vanilla playthrough first. There's enough content there to keep you occupied for a good while. TR is mostly for people who have already beaten the main game and want more.

The vanilla game is already good. You can install the mods and not touch them and only go there later albeit if you want.

the whole east coast feels much less polished
but i mean, no shit
theres still stuff to do tho ime. its just noticeably less dense in quests

Some questlines are altered in TR to make you go to the mainland though. Not to mention you can just end up using divine intervention in the wrong place and end up across the inner sea.

thats true

Nipples too small.

How do you open trapped doors and containers without blowing yourself up

Aside from TR, what are some good quest mods? Anyone play Silent Island at all?

How is Tribunal Main Quest Reforged? Does it work with Sotha Sil Expanded?

I installed the i heart vanilla directors cut modlist for openmw and im having a blast

thanks, babe

Use telekinesis, you can even use unlock spells on touch from a distance paired with telekinesis

Mainly by disarming it with a probe. Can also open it with telekinesis

Well damn, I have no probes or telekinesis, so my only bet is tanking shit atm huh

100% resist magic for 1 second. Ez

Is there any decent vampire content in TR? I know there's some clans in vanilla but that's about it, can't really talk to anyone else for quests as far as I know

Some dude who has no telekinesis could afford that

C'mon, anon.

There's a new clan in the new ashlands they added

desu TR is fuckmassive, so id go try to play a bit with just vanilla. dont even really have to beat it if you dont want
one thing you really wanna at least get used to is how fasttravel/teleportation works in MW, and esp how quests/directions are given by NPCs before fucking off to the mainland. else youll prolly just feel frustrated and lost, most likely

theres plenty to do in just the regular game. its still morrowind after all, its the GOAT for a reason
TR is just there for us retards whove been playing the same game for like 2 decades

you can, as other anons suggested, just ignore it and have it installed anyways and just go when you want. but for one it makes the in-game map a lot smaller, so it can be a bit harder to navigate vvardenfell for a first-timer. and two it definitely starts to noticeably increase load times for loading save games, since youre adding like 10GBs of new shit that needs to be loaded

Isn't that the one that's just copies Silent Hill?

Yeah. The mod description makes it seem like it has a bunch of endings and such.
nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/50274

Not my cup of tea but looks interesting
Just try it if you're interested, I doubt you'll lose anything from it

it's just a bunch of ideas on a paper, it's nowhere near actually being worked on.

I'm curious, I've seen it mentioned bethesda never really utilised the capabilities of morrowinds dialogue system, does TR make any improvements on that or does it adhere to the base games style?

sick
whats their clans power/buff?

No idea, I don't suffer vampires to live.

Kinda
There are real skill checks in some of quests

thats too bad
that altmer clan in vanilla is really strong if youre a mage and you pretty much GOTTA be a mage cuz no one but telvanni and mages guild will even fucking talk to you

its in the base games style but theres more stuff
like skill/stat checks and simple scripting and whatnot

Any place where I can do alchemy without having to carry a shit ton of alchemy tools

Do you get those buffs just by being turned by one of them or is there a quest involved

start a fresh playthrough for Grasping Fortune

realize that I have to join Hlaalu to access a lot of the new content

Those Hlaalu jews will receive their just desserts... when the House Redoran questline is finished in 2048

If you're starting a new run, look for Vori's house that's really nice to use in Balmora. You'll need lockpicking or a scroll of ondusi's unhinging though.

Balmora.jpg - 2560x1440, 2.46M

each area has a different clan with a different bloodline. each bloodline gives you a new spell thats really cheap and never fails, and some attribute skill bonuses. all clans get the basic buffs, but each one has unique buffs to their bloodline based on the warrior/rogue/mage archetype

same way it worked in daggerfall essentially. its a shame they dropped that in oblivion and skyrim. but i suppose the vampire clans were always an afterthought. in DF they were like one of the last things they put in, and in morrowind it kinda seems like the same thing, given how few quests there are for each clan

It kind of sucks that all of the current content is Hlaalu because I have zero interest in making a Hlaalu character. Even when I was just playing vanilla I would swap between Telvanni and Redoran but never Hlaalu.

wtf is vori doing in sadrith more anyways?
stealing shit?
prolly stealing shit

im an acrobat

uh huh suuuure yea me too vori

Can't you just join the continental Hlaalu like the Telvanni?

the imperial guilds got a lot of new quests too
could go that route
thats what im doing rn. thieves guild and the imperial cult my cover for me being a thieving bitch
even if youre not IN hlaalu, you can still ROB hlaalu

I'd be interested in trying it. Seems like something you do after you're done with all the quests you want to do since you're fucked to talk to most people

they ever considered refining base game stuff at some point? doesn't even have to be a major rework, just a bit of polishing on some of the weaker aspects

lmao

What skill overlap is there between thieves guild and imp cult? Unless you just use trainers to keep up in one of them

you can get cured too, its not like youre stuck forever. it is a bit of a process tho
just make sure you got most of the stuff youre gonna need BEFORE getting bit. most vendors will tell you to fuck right off and many people will just attack you
also no fast travel so make sure you can get around quick on your own cuz the sun WILL kill you very quick

It separates by province, not mainland/island now.

uhh not much desu
but for my character theresmore than enough to work with. speechcraft is the big common one, and thats my main
picrel

Yeah maybe I'll try a mage with some alch, enchant and maybe armorer for self sufficiency. Haven't played a pure caster before

yea do it
i think its fun
most people seem to hate it, and there isnt really that many quests for each clan. but idk its just a new way to play the game, if you havent done it

i guess just make a save before doing it and then you can reload if you fucking hate it

Morrowindfag malding over Oblivion remastered.
This is the Please Clap moment for Morrowind fans.

Why have acrobatics as major and both weapon skills as minor? Are you trying to avoid spamming jump to level it?

I got the amulet but how do I fix it?

didnt wanna be gud
didnt wanna be stronk
shes just some noodly lass with a silver tongue
basically, there was no strategy, i just wanted to have to rely on things other than just whacking an enemy with a sword or a fireball or whatever
ive been doing +2s and +3s into AGI and SPD and +1 in LCK every level
minmaxing is for the birds

they feel more in line with vanilla in quality, so not bad. they only seem poor compared to how good the modern stuff is

no to both

+2s and +3s into AGI and SPD and +1 in LCK

I started doing basically this on my rogue starting at like lvl 15. Feels good not seeing 112/10 progress towards next level

Give it to the archmage at narsis

I am a good boy, I will wait in line

yea a lot of people get caught up on that stuff, and its a bummer. i feel like its half the reason a lot of new players bounce off of morrowind. theyre 5mins off the boat and already worrying about how theyre gonna get 10 END skill ups before they get to lvl2. its just hamstringing your own fun imo. its fun to do once and never again. certainly not for the first run

but like sure, you ARE making your character permanently less powerful than they couldve been if you play this way
but for one: who cares imma still be a literal god by the end of this; and two, i dont wanna sit there and spam jump/spells/whatever or abuse training. her stats will get higher, and shell get stronger, bit by bit. no worries

give me the worst build imaginable

Redguard mage

Is there any point in enchanting if you aren't going to break the game with it? To get anything worthwhile out of enchanting you need to practically break the game anyways because the success formula is so borked. If you don't break it you're better off just using spells.

It lowers the usage of your enchanted weapons and items. At 110 enchanting it basically costs nothing.

I've just started using the console, so it's more like Daggerfall, just with 8 points per level up instead of 1d6

It affects the amount of item charges, which is pretty useful if you're going to use enchanted items

If you are breaking the game alchemy is a far less labor intensive way to do it.
Enchanting serves no real purpose either playing the game "correctly" or breaking it.

As a kid I failed to enchant dozens of items before giving up and paying twelve billion gold for auto success.

Enchanting serves no real purpose

That's just not true
The difference between low level enchanting and high is literally hundreds of uses of enchanted items many of which are quite good, especially with TR and other mods
You can build your entire character on using enchanted items without breaking the game

I am talking about the vanilla game. I don't care how mods handle it.

find item worth 100k

merchants have only 3k at best

they'll only give you 10% of the price of the item you want to sell

thanks todd

It's a case of even for vanilla game

Alchemy is always a better alternative whether playing it straight or breaking the game.
You will work harder to get less in either scenario.

want to go fishing

hear Solstheim has amazing fishing spots

board my ship, Stormrider, and set sail

sail from Vivec to Solstheim (in real time)

dock my ship at Fort Frostmoth

lower my smaller fishing boat into the water and row to the small lake near the fort

fish all day and sell my catches back at the fort for a decent amount of gold

Cozy days here in Morrowind.
To the Anon that mentioned the Stormrider mod a few threads ago, you are my nigga. This is one of the best transportation mods I have ever had the pleasure of playing.

go to Redoran enchanter (who's a Hlaalu spy btw)

enchant something for 50k

sell all of your stuff

Needs some prior investment bit it's quite effective (and you're technically not breaking the game)

Any model and armor replacer coomer mods?

You just sell it and take everything they have assuming you're not a creeper pleb for some reason
By the time you sell everything you'll have more money than you can do anything with

I'm talking about normal gameplay, not breaking the game
Enchanting and alchemy have different purposes
You can still buy potions with a low alchemy skill, you need at least a medium level of enchanting because otherwise any items will expire in 10-5 uses, which is just not enough for constant use

Mod recommendations?
I currently have
Tamriel Rebuilt
Code Patch
MGE XE
Familiar Faces
Optimization Patch
Project Cyrodil
Fair Magicka Regen
Stormrider
Glow in the Dahrk
UI Extender
The Morrowind Strut (yes, Trainwiz, I add this every install)
Perfect Placement
Alchemical Knowledge
Graphic Herbalism MWSE edition
Delayed DB
Ultimate Fishing
Water Life
Where Are The Birds Going (both of these aren't very canon but I like them)
Better Dialogue Font
Lakeside House (the only house mod that isn't basically cheating since it gives you no overpowered free shit whatsoever. Weirdly, it's recently had an update after over a decade)

So yeah, I have a decent amount as it is, but are there any good ones I'm missing?

top fucking kek

Does putting money in the bank in TR do anything?

You seem to think having options is important. If they are both competitive with strengths and weaknesses to make it a considered decision you would be correct.
Enchanting is clearly inferior to alchemy in every way in Morrowind.

Is there any place on any of the 3 Tamriel Data-using mods where you can get those khajiit weapons they added recently?

Alchemy won't kill enemies on its own, it won't throw a fireball or summon a big angry thing
I find the comparison of these skills odd
Alchemy is more about complementing your build while Enchanting is about covering its flaws or just being your main way of killing enemies

Alchemical Knowledge

If you are gonna be making potions, get this mod nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/45729 it let's you make better poisons and then apply them to your weapon for combat.

Why do you think that matters?
If you want to nuke entire towns you use alchemy. If you want to waste hours or billions of in game gold you use enchanting.

There is no situation where enchanting is the better option.

What if I want to play as an enchanter?

Fair point.

A lot of that region is older and not quite up to standard apparently. Looks like it's more of a minor rework compared to Poison Song and their plans for the Telvanni stuff.

wiki.project-tamriel.com/wiki/Roth-Roryn#Plan

You're completely clueless.

I don't think one is better than the other, they have completely different roles

f you want to nuke entire towns

I use mods that balance both Enchantment and Alchemy and prefer not to break the game. It gets very boring very quickly

hours or billions of in game gold you use enchanting

You can just use regular unique items and even random ones

sell my catches back at the fort for a decent amount of gold

How expensive are fishes anyways, now I'm curious

A compelling counter point to my argument.
Unless you are actively looking for inferior versions of existing mechanics enchanting serves no purpose.

Recommended mods for making the journal less annoying to use?

i just keep my own journal. helps with immersion too

thanks

Once again I do not care how mods handle things.
The vanilla game enchanting is a vestigial organ that serves no real purpose. It is only there because it is supposed to be there. Just like your appendix. Like your appendix it serves no real purpose.

I'm playing unmodded openmw. If I go ahead and install this total overhaul (modding-openmw.com/lists/total-overhaul/) will I be able to swap back to a vanilla build for those saves?

Any of the skills are useless because you can just type tgm in the console

AFFresh, was kinda nice to see some new stuff in the starting areas, I actually spend a lot of time here creating new characters
Kirel's Interior Weather, just some ambience added inside when it's got weather out
Speechcraft rebalance, kinda nice alternative to bribe 10/charm/fortify personality spam

Thats pretty cool actually. Doesn't even need mwse either.

those saves will still be left in the game but i am not sure you can switch between modlists. You could just uninstall the modlist also after and just play through your vanilla save again.

for inferior versions of existing mechanics

Objectively superior to casting spells normally.
No chance to fail, no casting time, no magicka usage. As many spells as the items you can carry, likely jewelry.

can you post the vanilla game character you're playing right now

Well I really just wanted to have a vanilla run under my belt before modding and never going back. I'll probably just do the main stuff and then switch over for good.

Yea, fucks us consol fag's hard with no good difficulty options,

Has anyone tried this player housing mod for the mainland? nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/53681 It says it adds 8 houses. Seems like there's no housing yet in Narsis or the Grasping Fortune area

I dunno those Hlaalu guards know their job

I feel like using a journal mod like this will encourage you to take on as many quests as you possibly can like Skyrim or Oblivion which isn't how you are supposed to quest in Morrowind. You take one or two at a time, maybe a third if it's on the way to wherever you are going, and keep everything relatively local. Helps with immersion and the pacing of the gameplay.

Pisscord trannies are really astroturfing this garbage here at Anon Babble but they run from Anon Babbletesg every time they are exposed

They made the game the same on consoles as PC. There aren't two versions. Enchanting is inferior on both platforms.
You are correct mods can fix it on PC.

talking about games is bad!

How have you not killed yourself yet?

Hlaalu and Dres ended slavery.

Some of the TR NPC barks are so comically high pitched

Does the Legion have a decent amount of content in Grasping Fortune? I already made the mistake of joining Redoran

not in TR

2010s

Everyone refusing to play without Better Heads and Bodies

2020s

Everyone refusing to use Better Heads and Bodies because it's so jarring with TR

Kind of funny, but I'm not complaining, those were a pain in the ass to get working without issues.

I feel lije people nowadays are more appreciative of the vanilla morrowind artstyle to the point they don't want to replace the faces

Don't simple patches these days 'correct' the intelligence alchemy spam? It's weird to see someone go crazy over it still, very odd

any improvements to werewolves?

It depends on your merchant skill. I have my skill maxed out, so I was able to make a good 354 gold off the fish i caught. Taking into account the amount I spent on bait, it was a nice profit. Though i will admit, the fishing mod i have installed is more for roleplaying than actual gameplay benefit. You won't become a millionaire by being a fisherman.
Yeah, this mod is done all in the vanilla engine. It's damn impressive. This boat give me both real time and fast travel across Morrowind, and it has a bed and a shit ton of storage containers below the deck. So this ship acts as a player home too.

old but consistent

vs

old but inconsistent

Even if it was better (it isn't), it's no that much of an improvement and it comes at the cost of clashing with the look of the rest of the game.

Last time I tried to play I had to spend a whole day modding only to immediately quit when I booted the game and saw some pink missing textures. Is there a one click "essential" "vanilla+" modpack I can get with for Tamriel Rebuilt now?

There's a scamp in Caldera that has 5k gold and buys items at full price. He's in that orc mansion if I recall.

Do I need to be a high rank in the Imperial Legion to start the TR version of the Fort Firemoth quests? The legion trooper in Seyda Neen nor the high ranking knight in Old Ebonheart won't give me the quest to go there. I read you can eventually make it into a stronghold for Imperial Legion players.

Until you mentioned it nobody brought it up.

If you don't think it is worthy of discussing don't discuss it.

Mods for shitty games =/= Talking about video games

Uvirith's Legacy
Building up Tel Uvirith
Rise of House Telvanni

Enchanting is inferior

What? Are you retarded or something? Enchanting is literally magic without needing magicka. It's incredibly useful even without considering the fact you make broken constant effect enchantments on all your gear.

Just spent 300 hours on my current save ... fuuuck... Will I be able to update tr without starting a new game somehow? I haven't left Vvardenfell yet

i just like the vanilla models

videogame mods don't count as videogames because i say so

now you just sound schizophrenic

Anon Babbletesg

That's literally all waifufaggotry

i think ita doesu worku

Currently I'll advise trying playing mostly pure TR stuff because the new update is prone to breaking graphical stuff with older mods like trees or grass for TR

It does nothing better than alchemy.

So your argument is enchanting is great because you can enchant things?

Absolutely not, only a fool would try that.
Absurdly wrong.

but they run from Anon Babbletesg every time they are exposed

Place became garbage over a decade ago. Now its all just retards posting their weird fetish models. As per usual for anything Anon Babble related.

Jesus christ Old Ebonheart runs at 30fps

Damn, you're getting 30? Nice.

It's also not true, people were posting TR stuff there. He's a schizo.

Yeah, it's comfy and a great town but it's also murder on most computers.

Anyone played this before? Looks pretty massive and with huge changes for playing in Vvardenfell, hopefully with more content. But I've seen some guys criticizing the balancing changes.

I hear a whole lot of bluster with nothing backing it up.
Tell me what enchanting does better than alchemy.
My guess is your response will some variation of you can enchant stuff with enchanting. Dazzle me.

nta but enchanted items are cooler than casting magic because no animation
no potion removes casting animations

all those "Warp ruins" around Sentinel

what a mess

House Hlaalu

Unabashed scumbags who will collude, cheat and even steal from children if it advances their interests. Pure Chutzpah.

House Redoran

Pretend to be honorabu moralfags, but behind closed doors they are just as degenerate as Hlaalu.

House Telvanni

Honest, Ancap, will to power, libertines.

The choice was always so obvious. Idk how Redoran even has fans. Just skip those tards entirely and give us Telvanni and Indoril content already.

Warp ruins

Skaven

Hmmmm...
The funny thing is that it's all canon and actual warhammer reference because some morrowind and other early tes developers worked on warhammer fantasy stuff back in the day

They did Telvanni as the very first thing of the whole mod, anon.

Indoril is peak, hope Dres can give them a run for their money

I wouldn't say telvanni are ancap since they're not terribly interested in profit. Just being left alone to do their crazy wizardry. And have a few slaves or whatever.

Telvanni rework soon(10 years from now)

house so assblasted their leaders necked themselves

confederate house

Why is Wayrest a Megalopolis on the same scale as the Imperial City?

Wayrest.png - 800x600, 385.96K

Can't wait to marry into Great House Indoril.

IC is not rome
Wayrest is not london

Imperial City looks at least double the cell size in your own screen

so this shit will be done in like, what, 2050?

I turn the animations on because it looks cool

Imagine settling on Fagway Fagen and not carrying on to Bestwick.

Tamriel rebuilt? Maybe in a decade if they continue at the current pace.
Project Tamriel? Never at the current pace and system, only hope is if generative AI gets to the point where it can be finished by a small team.

You can play it right now
It's already bigger than the main game

This completely changes how I'm going to play the game from now on. Stormrider will be a permanent part of my mod list moving forward.

They're ancap in a world where gold is a lesser form of capital than raw magic power.

Is it small enough to sail to Narsis?
I didn't pay attention to the size of the river but it looks pretty small on the map

Does it break the quests in TR if you finish the respective houses/guilds quest lines in vanilla and then go to Mainland?
Like if I’m arch mage can I still do the shitty jobs or are they gonna lock me out because I’m AM

Me breddah
Experiencing the world from this angle is really awesome. My only complaint is there are never any spaces to park in any port because they didn't really intend on people needing a dock to use lol

check out starwind if you haven't already. never played that one.

You can choose wether you want mainland factions to be separate or integrated with vvardenfell's, either way it doesn't break them.

Works? The lore page on UESP says it lets you burrow through dungeon walls. Does that mean TR gets arbitrary terrain destruction with it?

Where do you get the boat and for how much then

this would make a cozy OP

Oh really is that the factions.esp?
Think I’ve got it ticked but not done any real mainland stuff besides intro mages guild and intro to Hllalu as I intend to run with them
Managed to find a Hllalu town just south of vivec, am I best drying this of quests and then heading down to Narsis? Or is there more of the house to do before heading south?

No, it lets you phase through architecture and doors provided there is something on the other side.

graphics don't need to advance past this.

If that tacks on the expectation that some hidden areas can only be reached by using it then honestly it being in the game sounds like a pain. Like trying to activate every single piece of wall in Wolfenstein 3D to find all the secrets but worse.

Is this a scam

I haven't seen anything like that, but it lets you bypass doors (still considered a crime to bypass them though).

Yeah that's a strange way to frame it considering Daggerfall is explicitly supposed to be the largest city on the Illiac with Wayrest being smaller but richer.

You'll get what you deserve

Most definitely, but are you really sweating 600 gold? It could set your kids up anon

Black briar

Yeah.

Buy the mine and then kill her to get your gold back.

Haven't tried to travel there by ship yet. I'll test it out and get back to you later.

Any early game tips for a caster?

Just finished a neravarine quest run and then decided to go check out the new areas for a bit of tourism.

1. Nothing I found in TR is scaled to be a challenge or rewarding for post Dagoth Ur incarnate. If it exists please direct me to it.
2. 90% of the quests I found were utterly trivial MMO tier stuff like 'return the pack guars you find in the wilderness' or 'I need 4 of these type of herbs, go buy them or find them'. Local rumors were better at directing me to find 'content' than actual quests were.
3. There is interesting random content you can stumble across, like a giant spider daedra under a shrine, or a vast goblin cave network with a bunch of secret areas with artifact loot. However, no challenge whatsoever if you have done main quest already.
4. There is supposedly an 'epilogue' questline for the neravarine, but it did not trigger or I did not find it. I haven't done bloodmoon or tribunal yet, which I will be forced to go do to 'progress' since TR content is pure tourism content for a leveled character.

Conclusions: TR is for making a new character and then going and doing a pure TR playthrough and avoiding Vvardenfel (and its associated cheese/bs items laying around) like the plague. One should also not cheese the game at all such as with potion making / special merchant usage. TR is built to cater to the actual role playing, live in the world organically, type of morrowind gamer. This shouldn't be surprising since long time fans usually circle back to this type of gameplay after breaking the game so many times its no longer fun to do it.

how do i install TR?

you get what you pay for

must. obsessively. think. about. trannies. every. waking.... moment!!!!!!

have you ever tried engaging with something as an individual? be your own man, ugly faggot.

is it retarded to minor athletics?

if you care about efficient leveling at all then any skill that is out of your control should be left as misc

athletics will level on its own while you run around, along with acrobatics from jumping/falling

is there any guide on how to install openmw and tr?

Touch spells are dirt cheap compared to target and are quite good for the low magicka cost early game. Make sure you have multiple damage types so you're not doing 0 frost damage to a nord who's immune. Fatigue effects spell cast chance so it's always a good idea to either have a modest fatigue spell active or to just make a bunch of fatigue potions. Bring a bunch of restore mana potions
use mark and recall
Make sure you make a spell that can restore all your attributes so you can fix yourself after getting drained by some bonewalker.

they have a guide on their website

I'm pleased to inform you that you can sail to Narsis. I sailed from Vivec to Narsis in real time with no fast travel needed!

thanks anon
its been a few years since i installed it last time, i genuinely forgot how too.
ok thanks

Cool thanks. Any point in building for unarmored or will Shield be enough

just read the website
open morrowind is very easy to use
modding it is also easy just follow the steps
modding-openmw.com/guides/auto/

okay but is the content good?

Morrowind fags angry over this post

constant effect items

if you insist on not wearing armor, then you should make unarmored a minor skill at least

block is an excellent skill overall and you will certainly make use of it someday when you eventually figure out that manually casting elemental damage is a waste of time and mana and also dangerous compared to simply swinging with an enchanted weapon

There's no downside to using armor while casting in morrowind so you can wear whatever you want. I personally didn't use the shield spell often and would just tank hits with health potions while wearing armor. Illusion has sanctuary which increases your chance to dodge but I have no idea if it's better than shield for damage mitigation.

The spell 'shield' not A shield

Do items dropped on the ground despawn?

high enchanting means you use less charges when using enchanted items

if that means 'breaking the game' to you then w/e, but thats the point of enchanting for average adventuring usage

no

oh good
All this daedric and ebony loot from catacombs is gonna sit on the floor at the divine intervention point then

oh
no, you need unarmored also, shield is not nearly enough on its own, and you will OOM yourself if you are casting it all the time and it is not a damage shield, it just adds to your armor

the hut of ash statues I built for the mudcrab merchant outside says no, items don't despawn

game unplayable without boots of blinding speed

game too easy with boots of blinding speed

cursed existence

sit on the floor at the divine intervention point then

Are you me?

player.setspeed x

there, fixed that for you dumbass

Just stack it in Nine Toes house or something for fucks sake you HEATHENS lmao

doesn't fix the existential problem of the boots existing
omg just kill somebody and take their house like the rest of us, you hobos

Try playing an Orc with athletics as a major and the Steed sign, you'll be surprised at how fast you are right out of the census office

game unplayable without boots of blinding speed

no?

item has a constant shield effect

get a bunch of glitter covering your screen every few seconds with it equipped

fuck's sake

uh yeah, after you get used to moving at 300 speed consistently there is no going back

silgrid’s tower

Isnt that really fucking old, made by a different team heretical to tamriel rebuilt’s ego, and incompatible?

Try playing an Orc

Im not doing that

Im going to start a new run as a brain damaged skooma addict khajit.

when I was a kid I put some loot in a basket and it dissapeared when I came back so I assumed the npcs would steal your shit off the ground. Well fuck this is big.

It's the name of the region.

I was curious about this, if there were any big set pieces or epic quests or if it was all just menial busywork.

It's not very enjoyable considering the boots literally blind you. I remember using them together with levitate to travel medium distances gauging my location from the minimap.

Resist Magic effects reduce the blindness but not the speed.

There absolutely are, but they're in guild quests.

I didn't realize element shield effects reflected damage, fuck me. I thought it was just shield and resist element combined.

It's not very enjoyable considering the boots literally blind you.

It's pretty easy to get 100% magic resist.

There is supposedly an 'epilogue' questline for the neravarine, but it did not trigger or I did not find it

it triggers after tribunal. sleep a bit after you kill almalexia

Not him but fuck, that means I have to get through SSE...

It's Oblivion where elemental shields are armor+elemental resist

This post contains absolutely GIGANTIC SPOILERS for Tribunal.
Don't read this spoiler if you are planning on playing Tribunal.
I know he put it in spoiler tags but that's a level beyond.

No one has posted the mp4 yet...

I think I spent 10 hours yesterday just sort of wandering around and finding stuff to do (post dagoth ur), and I never encountered any epic quest hooks at the surface level. The environments are great, especially the cities and settlements, but its all very static unless you know exactly where to go to start stuff (just like base morrowind).

If there is content like that its buried deep inside of factions, which is understandable but also a little frustrating.

I'm playing Morrowind for the first time what the fuck you kill Almalexia? Why?

lol

spoilers for a 30 year old game

jesus christ

It's buried under quests and such yes, but there's cool as hell shit geared towards high levels like Khalaan and the dreugh cities.

Not everyone has played every game. And light spoilers are one thing but that's more than just a spoiler.

?

Has anyone installed the stormrider or the fishing mod on linux yet? If so can you post proofs. I am too afraid to touch my install after I got TR working.

n-not everyone

Go fuck yourself fag

that's more than just a

hey nigger did you not realize nobody was fucking still around from the Tribunal in Skyrim, because they're all dead or missing (dead)

Dont be a baby.

Yeah, I don't think most people are able to realize things they couldn't know. Maybe you're just special.

Definitely special.

I'm doing my first actual MQ playthrough right now and I've already been spoiled on a ton of shit including that, I basically knew the whole story before I even started lol. oh well, it's still fun to go through so far.

most people are able to realize things they couldn't know

You could know it though, you had decades to learn it. Now you have.

Get fucked.

You would know it if you played the game that you didn't play

Stop acting like a fucking retard.

not sure if trolling, but if you aren't then you need to check yourself
tribunal is like 22 years old and the anon you are crying your bitch tears over was actually nice enough to use a spoiler
don't mouse over spoilers if you don't want to be spoiled

the obviously insane whackjob bitch you are forced to work for... le betrays in the end!??!

Tribunal was not the greatest expansion

almalexia.png - 903x686, 428.56K

hasn't played any games ever

in threads discussing the games

whines about spoilers for a game that's older than he is

I don't care about your bitch feelings and I hope your saves corrupt.

im installing i-heart-vanilla-directors-cut
will I like this if im a morrowind newb?

but it's XXXX years old

Who fucking cares? It's a story and you're ruining it. I was pointing out that the spoiler was a real actual spoiler and multiple people have flipped a tit about it.

Calm the fuck down.

don't mouse over spoilers if you don't want to be spoiled

Not any of the previous anons but you usually say what the spoiler as a warning. I was expecting it to be like a hint like "go to Necrom" "go to Old Ebonheart's Mage Guild", etc.

fuck off you stupid cunt
I was saving other people from you jizzing the entire story on their face. Just because you don't care doesn't mean no one does.

Even the fucking set up to your spoiler was you being retarded.

You're just mad that you got caught being a little shithead. Fuck you.

multiple people have flipped a tit about it

no, only one imbecile did (you)
and its so ridiculous I thought you were joking at first
stop crying about 'spoilers' (impossible) for an ancient piece of media content
furthermore, you should know better than to come to Anon Babble and ask about things if you don't want to be spoiled
in conclusion, stop bitching you little cuntdrip
yeah it's fine, its a good modpack and doesn't change anything significantly

I've never even seen anybody bother to hide spoilers about morrowind, ever. It's an ancient game. Everyone already knows you are Nerevar, Vivec killed you in your past life, Almalexia is a crazy bitch that murdered Sotha Sil, and you kill Almalexia. It's not news.

you don't want an entire expansion spoiled for you because I'm too stupid to answer a question properly?

too bad, lol, you're dealing with a real fucking trainwreck here

I can't seriously believe someone is fucking crying this hard over a correctly spoilered spoiler for a plot element in a 22 year old game

I wonder what type of fucked up little mentally ill screecher you must be IRL

spoiled

It doesn't take much mental power to deduce that you will probably end up killing insane misbehaving gods in the expansion about them and their insane misbehavior.

You moron. Btw Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's father, and Snape kills Dumbledore.

The expansion kinda sucks, he saved you some trouble. Granted, you had multiple decades to play it, so you weren't ever going to anyway.

people show interest in a game that they are clearly playing for the first time

well, I guess I'll just ruin it for them

You really don't understand that? It's difficult for you?

SNAPE KILLS DUMBEDORE
VADER IS LUKE'S FATHER
THAT RICH GUY IS ACTUALLY THE WOODSIE LORD
HE MADE UP THE ENTIRE STORY
HE'S ACTUALLY A GHOST THE WHOLE TIME
THE WOMAN WHO TOLD THEM TO LEAVE WAS RIGHT AND THE MILITARY COULD'VE SAVED THEM ALL
THE CAKE IS A LIE
THE ALIENS ARE WEAK TO EARTH VIRUSES
THE HUMANS ARE EXTINCT AND YOU DON'T GET TO IMPREGNATE 2B
THE LITTLE SHEEP IS THE BIG BAD ACTUALLY
BEATRICE IS A MAN

doesn't want to be spoiled

mouses over and reads spoilers anyway

It's difficult for you?

Yup, it's a Anon Babble thread.

Anon is literally asking about content that is post-main quest

wtf you're ruining the story

No one is ever going to take you seriously whining about spoilers in a game that's older than you are, that everyone already knows the lore to as it's a topic of constant discussion.

Will there still be people autistic and willing enough to work on this product in 50-100 years from now?
