Some of the best games ever made were intended to be played on a 1024x768 17 inch CRT monitor. Resolutions higher than that are better for sure, but only up to a point. Once you go above 1080p you're in diminishing returns territory.

Not everyone, but the vast majority did. Some people I knew even had 15 inch monitors but I hated those. They were too small and made text difficult to read unless you switched the resolution to 800x600.

If you're using a 24 inch monitor, then at least do yourself a favour and get a 1920x1200 24 inch monitor. 1080p is absolute trash tier on small monitors. I have one at work which is around 24 inches and it is unusable.

A lightsaber emits a beam of plasma which loops around back into the hilt. This causes it to have really weird rotational inertia, and swinging it feels like trying to swing a bicycle wheel while it's spinning perpendicular to how you're trying to move it, which if you've ever tried it, is very difficult and clumsy. There are multiple ways of overcoming this limitation, including just using raw power to overcome the inertia or learning how to move the lightsaber in such a way that the strange momentum doesn't fight what you're trying to do with it.

Contrary to fan interpretation, you don't need to be a jedi to learn how to do this effectively. Grievous, for example, could effectively wield up to 4 lightsabers despite not being force sensitive at all. You can even program droids to use them. The reason that lightsabers are jedi weapons is that lightsabers require kyber crystals, which are very rare, and which the jedi monopolized the only consistent source of for thousands of years. Once the jedi order was destroyed by Palpatine, he had the planet which they were obtained for stripmined, and the crystals were used to power the death stars and other high energy super weapons, rather than being distributed for individual weapon use, likely due to Palpatine's disdain for jedi culture and his personal preference for seeing planets explode.

You can find a 5070 or 5070 ti for less than a 9070 right now, so AMD needs to get their shit together.

Sure it is. I can still play on a 1080p monitor today. Having said that, once you've played at 4k or 5k, (provided you have a computer powerful enough to run that), it's really hard to go back to 1080.

I played on a shitty old laptop for years before I got the PC I have today. I'm so accustomed to low settings in games that I honestly don't feel comfortable gaming unless I change the settings to low anyway.
So I will continue to game on the lowest settings possible for any game I play. It is simply my way.

The difference between Skyrim on the 360, and a gtx660 was insane. When I looked back at the 360 version, I could see the micro jumps in their movement, which I never noticed before. Whereas my 660 was getting 90+ fps and the flames on my hand looked real damn nice.
