If you dislike these games you're probably an NPC with no soul

If you dislike these games you're probably an NPC with no soul.

unironically immersive RPGs are the peak of videos games
tainted grail looks promising
i look forward to wayward realms and skylivion
and i hope warhorse is making a fantasy game with magic

oblivion is a pretty good littering simulator but it fails in almost everything else

Morrowind and Skyrim are good.

I like Morrowind and Oblivion but I've never been able to get into Skyrim

t. 150 hours in Oblivion
t. 300 hours in Skyrim

liking consolized action "RPGs" and open world slop is the epitome of NPC taste

was 150 how long it takes to do every quest?
been there, which is why i know it fails in almost everything else

TESV was literally the advent of soulless normalfags getting into vidya

I can't tell you how many hours I have because I played it before it was on Steam zoomer.

i don't Bethesda but Skyrim has a lot of soul despite the shitty production quality

You literally posted NPC games

peak of videos games

Movie games*

Anon Babble shits on them, that means they are good

I've played them all.
My favorite? Don't have one. They're all good in their own way.

morrowind too old for me to get into
fix your graphic oblivion came out b4 skyrim

Any soul these games have is despite Bethesda and it shows. For any moment of genuine charm or crrativity, you have a thousand overlooked or half-assed elements. Like speech checks in Skyrim being used for the most banal of encounters and all quests being shallow killathons.

3 5 4

are you illiterate? that's not how you count

Skyrim is pure trash for retards, mage's guild is shittiest quest chain in any videogame ever. Oblivion non woke version is unplayable garbage without mods, good game with mods. Oblivion woke version same but needs more mods. Morrowind has 0/10 combat and straight up copied Wheel of Time story, but it's kind of fun. The only game in series with risk-reward so it's at least fun. All 3 are massively overrated, especially Skyrim.

those, movie game??
are you retarded

Not moviegames in the typical sense but they are walking/talking sims.

If you dislike bland fake RPG console dogshit, you have no soul

Oblivion>Morrowind>Skyrim

OP really aggro'd the NPCs with this one

nigga they are more interactive that almost any game out there.
talking isn't just talking it's mechanic

I unironically believe that you have to be npc to like Skyrim and post-Skyrim bethesda games.

No you just need to have next to no gaming experience. To a man surrounded by white walls all his life the color purple will be mind blowing.

Skyrim is, and always has been: shallow trash where none of your choices, beginning from character creation matter in the slightest.
In a sense, it's the very antithesis of what an RPG is supposed to be as it lacks the depth required to be able to characterize the character you're supposed to be roleplaying as.
Morrowind started the trend of streamlining things to make the game more accessible, Oblivion continued that trend and Skyrim completed it.
I will gladly play any other TES game over Skyrim because of this.

I thank whatever anon ages ago who showed me Mount and Blade. I have never been able to so much as stomach a Bethesda game since.

Morrowind started the trend of streamlining things to make the game more accessible

I strongly disagree with this. The difference between Daggerfall and Morrowind was not a streamlining change. It was a procedurally generated content to handcrafted content change. Naturally you can do less by hand so on paper there is less, but the quality of what exists in the game blows Daggerfall out of the water. I don't find procedurally generated content engaging in the slightest but that's my personal opinion. What isn't a matter of opinion is that Morrowind is actually less streamlined than Daggerfall and has more of a learning curve. You have unlimited fast travel in Daggerfall, for example, while Morrowind had diagetic fast travel methods that you'd have to engage with. Morrowind to Oblivion was when there were changes that are actually due to streamlining, such as quest objective arrows.

Morrowind

accessible

To this day you still have retards getting filtered just by fighting the first mud crab they see. You can't group Morrowind with the other two.

Morrowind is the god tier game
Daggerfall, oblivion are great
skyrim is just plain shit trash.
Also niggers saying morrowind streamlined daggerfall bro daggerfall has like 2 quests repeated forever and 80% of skills do fuck all. Morrowind also has more complex movement and physics. Daggerfall has climbing though which is giga based

I honestly don't know what people like about this shit except that for them it was "the first to do it." Not counting all the new settings leftoids think of these days that are supremely gay and retarded The Elder Scrolls setting is the most unappealing fantasy setting I've ever witnessed. I played Skyrim for 10 hours on 3 separate occasions since it came out and I just don't get it.

morrowind absolutely ruined the build variety and combat with all the cool skills they removed. no climbing, no backstabbing, no medical, no swimming, no mounts, no language
on top of that all the cool life sim stuff like houses and ships or the dozens of guilds to interact with
also fast travel is better. there is no enjoyment slowly walking around vvanderfell
Morrowind was the start of bethesda catering to consolefags

shame about the other two

The Elder Scrolls setting is the most unappealing fantasy setting I've ever witnessed.

I played Skyrim

Ok anon, you seem pretty wise and stuff so I agree with you.

Yes, when I was a teenager my friend showed me Oblivion and I watched him play for 30 minutes and thought it was retarded.

I play RPGs for good stories, or fun combat, or exciting loot to find. These have none of those.

No it didn't. None of those are things you can't do in Morrowind or are cool skills (language, seriously nigger?)
Morrowind has player homes and guilds.
Morrowind has fast travel, it's just not free and easy. Again, the opposite of streamlining.
Morrowind came out on PC first and has a UI clearly designed for PC.
You're just factually incorrect all round.

Skyrim is ankle deep compared to Morrowind and Oblivion.

All three are filled with issues that just ruin it for me. For Morrowind and Oblivion, I hate how easy it is to break the game. Oblivion is even worse because of it's difficulty slider being hilariously bad and breaking the game with magic or enchanting is necessary past the middle of the slider.
Skyrim on the otherhand goes too far in the other direction, losing all of it's RPG like charm to go full retard proof.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 and 2 are the true peak of the immersive sim like RPGs. They are almost perfect in every way.
It's just too bad that Warhorse seems to be obsessed with making historical sims over fantasy.

3 genre defining Open World RPGs within 9 years of each other

How the fuck did Todd do it!?

Bethesda has never made a good game.
The only good thing to come out of that studio was New Vegas and it wasn't even made by them plus it's still gimped by the gamebrypo engine.

For Morrowind and Oblivion, I hate how easy it is to break the game

This is the biggest issue for me. I'd really love Morrowind if it didn't become piss easy as early as level 5.

I'm the same.

first time playing Morrowind

end up becoming a god in a single day

get bored and stop playing

years go by and I pick it back up

same thing happens

remake and play pure melee

games combat was dated by it's own time standards so it just feels bad years later when I can play things like Dark Messiah

quit

go play Oblivion

feels kinda lame after Dark Messiah

up the difficulty

now everything is a sponge

to progress I have to delve into magic and enchanting

now I've just recreated my experience with Morrowind and completely broken the game

don't finish it because again boredom

years go by

Skyrim comes out

Combat still basically the same garbage just with slightly better animations

go magic

they've dumbed down the magic to the same brainrot retard level as Melee has been since Morrowind

I feel like I should have these games but I always just get bored in five minutes because the combat either sucks ass or the games are hilariously easy.

The handcrafted content feels way more procgen'd than DF's. The quests aren't designed any better but now they're done in tiny linear """dungeons""" with level scaled enemies/loot. The level and skill requirements in DF makes the side quests feel way more satisfying and the MQL actually having different endings is way more interesting than linear one in Morrowind.
