I was a little concerned about the resolution, but actually using it, the steamdeck pixel density is fine. I'm not a glasses wearing eyelet either.

Steamdeck seems like such a massive waste. I can't really imagine a situation where I'd want to play a game on it for an hour or two. If I am on the bus or train I can just use my phone during that time. If I am traveling then I'd rather just have a halfway decent laptop that I can use a controller or mouse with.
With the Switch 2 at the very least it is a Nintendo console and gets Nintendo exclusives that you can't play anywhere else bar emulation which we don't know if you'll be able to do with the Switch 2. I also hardly count emulation, to be totally honest. I am talking about both products out of the box. Switch 2 has exclusives. Steam Deck has shit I can play on a laptop.

The whole thing that makes the Steam Deck work is that it is not using a chip meant for a Windows Laptop. It is lower TDP and put together in a way that doesn't work well for Windows.
The Deck's custom RDNA2 SoC chip is also the same generation as the Switch 2's Orin which was announced 7 years ago.
