Anyone think it'll be possible to transfer POWER to earlier chapters? I keep thinking about the possibility of Susie being over leveled in Chapter 1, and oneshotting Lancer during the fight in the prison. Lancer dying would completely stunt her character growth, potentially fucking up Chapters 2 & 3 in the process. Who knows if she'd even be in Chapter 3 in this hypothetical timeline.

So there could be something in Chapter 3 you can do that won't obviously change something in the short-term, but which will smack you out of nowhere far into the future. Something as important as Berdly's death (assuming he really is dead) but which won't change the flow of Chapter 3 itself the way Snowgrave changes the latter half of Chapter 2
People are making a mountain out of "COMPLETE WITHOUT ISSUE" when it's just normal Gaster / Chapter 1 Save File Guy talk. "IT WAS AS IF IT WAS NEVER THERE AT ALL." was for simply deleting a save file. "COMPLETE WITHOUT ISSUE" is, at absolute worst, for finishing Chapter 3 without any deaths, but even then I think it's just finishing it by itself. Even though he's required to add trophies and even though I can accept the SUSIE = ISSUE as a base for her name, I don't think this is saying anything like that (that's not to say there won't be anything to be done, though. Personally, I hope retaining the titles you can get actually do get transfered over save files, simply to make the process of slowly changing how Chapter 1+ plays more fun since you'd naturally WANT to retain titles from the start of the game all the way through for the power to change previous chapters, even if it's minor stuff like, for example
Fluffy Prince - Ralei's title with a scarf equipped I think - going all the way to the end makes Ralsei's hugs heal you, but only for how much said character like hugs so it' personalized healing - Kris heals the least
Susie's Ultimate Heal Master title actually healing every status effect in the game, so the 2 hp heal is negligible - your building TP to heal nasty status effects you don't have the items to heal
I'd replay just for the strategic and small changes that can contribute to weird stuff happening

The way things are set up, you'll only receive a trophy once the current "room" where you unlocked it ends. You'll miss getting it if you turn off the game before then. So be careful while completing all four chapters. Especially, there may be certain conditions where you will miss acquiring the CHAPTER END trophies. I don't think it's something an average player would run across, however…

This has some characterization for Mrs. Holiday. She had the school cancel classes so that Noelle wouldn't have to walk to school across town in a heavy thunderstorm. You could frame this as being overly protective, but she was concerned for Noelle's health and safety. If she was neglecting Noelle she wouldn't give a shit.
Noelle also uses her mom's hair driers to dry off Catti and "make melty cheese crackers." If Mrs. Holiday was home for this it would be pretty nice and wholesome, but even if she's not it at least shows that Noelle isn't afraid of touching her mom's stuff, as you might expect if she was really that harsh and strict.
I think the idea that Mrs. Holiday is outright abusive to Noelle is overblown (you think Rudy would be with someone who would treat his little girl like that?). She expects a lot from her, and Noelle probably feels that she's controlling, but thinking that she doesn't love her is way off base. There's no doubt that their relationship is under a lot of strain right now with Rudy in the hospital and Mrs. Holiday clearly throwing herself into her work to cope, but the foundation isn't broken.
If she was neglecting Noelle she wouldn't give a shit.

Toby's ideal scenario would have been releasing the entire game together from the start.
Bundling and releasing 3-5 together was supposed to be a compromise, putting out a product complete enough to be charged for without making people WAIT too long. It soon became apparent that would still take too long, so 5 got shelved to put 3+4 out the door as soon as possible.
At this point I think Toby has been disabused of the notion that his game isn't being released episodically and nobody wants to WAIT more than strictly necessary, so future chapters will probably be released as soon as they're done.

Gaster
Weird motherfucker. Asks you to complete a survey at the start of the game, before his device is hijacked by an unknown entity. Possibly the man behind the tree who gives you eggs. If he IS the man behind the tree, that means he disappears during Weird Route and (according to recent information from Sweepstakes 2) kidnapped December Holiday in the forest at some point in time. Seems to have some weird "liking" to Kris, Susie and Noelle. Seems to have some sort of base of operations inside the bunker at the bottom of Hometown. Heavily implied to have told the prophecy to Ralsei, setting up the events of the game in motion. Heavily implied to be the last person Spamton called, possibly indicating he aided him in his rise to power.
DEVICE_FRIEND
Cat related entity that seems to be involved in RNG based events and the concept of luck. Heavily related to an in-game videogame called "Cat Petterz" which Spamton is also tied to. Seems to have some weird "liking" to Kris and Noelle specifically. Could possibly be Mike.
Mrs. Holiday was possessed by a certain entity and had been physically and sexually abusing Dess for years on behalf of said entity, who would then kill Dess when said entity couldn't posses her.
Asgore found out about part of this but had to keep quiet because of the political power held by Mrs. Holiday as the mayor, which is why he stepped down as sheriff and why Toriel hates him.
Kris has been trying to save Dess through a timeloop.

I definitely don't think Mike was Spamton's benefactor. Spamton wouldn't be so protective of Mike when asked about him if Mike was some God-tier entity that magically brought him success (one of the Addisons asks "What did he do? Why did HE deserve this?", implying that Spamton wasn't doing anything different, he just started getting attention all of a sudden). I would also expect Spamton to be bitter about Mike in this case, since picrel makes it seem like Spamton resents his benefactor, whereas Mike is the only person Spamton genuinely still likes. And the garbage noise mention from one of the Addisons pretty clearly ties all of this to Gaster. It's likely Gaster was Spamton's caller the entire time. Alternatively, Friend could have been the one calling Spamton at first, and the call Spamton got on the day of his eviction was from Gaster, and that was what made Spamton go schizo. No one at the mansion recalls Spamton acting strangely during his time there, other than when he started praying in the basement, but that isn't terribly weird compared to how he acts when we meet him in-game. I think this is decent evidence that Gaster wasn't the one calling at first, unless he just decided to wait a while before driving Spamton insane for some reason.

As the game is now, its not set up to read obtained crystals from other saves when you first talk to Seam. I think one of the reasons chapters 3 and 4 needed the chapter select to be the hub game is so the save data can be read by later and earlier chapters.
