I wish I could play it again, it was the first COD I ever played because I am a schizoid loner who has 0 friends and thus nobody to tell me about it, until highschool when by sheer luck I was invited to play it with people I knew from primary school.

I used to rage when I got killed and they would laugh at me, so then I decided to stop getting mad at games and instead become silently dissapointed at my failures.

ACR and Vector were my go to guns, I never got a nuke.

I was a bit past teenagerhood, but the nuke scene in Modern Warfare hit me right in the gut, and the opening of the Whiskey Hotel mission in MW2 did it again.
Fond memories of the campaign, especially compared to the nuModern Warfare story.

I had so many 360 dudebro friends who lived that game. I played a bit at friend's but never really got into it. I had one friend that would constantly get nukes. I still hang out with him some.
I had a friend that got in to the beta for mw1.Game looked fun, but I wasn't a 360 gamer.

I got one and I had to use hardline to get it. I felt like the king of the world when I got it because I was generally pretty bad at COD. I remember trembling with anticipation as I racked up kills.

It was dumb fun, but also representative of nearly all the worst trends in gaming at the time. I don't look back fondly on it at all, unlike other games from the same era when I was a teenager. I have better memories of TF2, Quake Live, and Tribes: Ascend than I did of MW2.

Yeah, I remember having a group I would play with constantly formed from real life friends. One day for some reason during matchmaking, I was split to the other team. It was on Wasteland and I used the WA2000 with the thermal scope. So I'd just hide in the brush, snipe one or two, then crawl away from the area and set up shot elsewhere, rinse and repeat. I made sure to specifically target my friends just to fuck with them. We won that match and it was pretty funny hearing one of my friends seethe afterwards.

Yep, didn't like it. CoD4 was way better IMO.

Mainly for the campaign. I like to camp with the dual m1887 because it makes people mad the most. I was a squaker so I rarely use the voicechat. I just enjoy hearing some 17 year old fags loses it at me on the lobby knowing that I ruined their day and there's nothing they can do about it but screams like the fag that they are.

Gameplay wise, I prefer bfbc2 as Mw2 maps are just too small to feel like a real battle.

Great times. Good single player, great co-op. Multiplayer had some balancing issues and the system was fucked. Fags running around with cheap loadouts, no dedicated servers, paid map packs (very expensive).
Still, i remember playing it for days on end, but recently I checked and I only have like 160 hours on the game.
