Lets be when Square Enix has basically tried to dance around that fact that turn based games typically don't draw a mainstream crowd. They weren't wrong with those assumptions. The numbers speak for themselves. When you're making games that need a 10 million minimum attachment rate to make your budget back. Turn based RPGs are only going to thrive in AA space by indie developers.
