PC gamers aren't safe from increasing prices either. Microsoft has been charging €80 for new AAA games since around last year. They charge that price on Steam as well. I almost spat my drink when I saw the prices for DOOM: the Dark Ages. DOOM Eternal was €60 on release.

Not to defend TLOU but Mario looks like it was made from the fraction of the cost it is that simple. Open world racing is where every other racer got at the end of the 360 - beginning of the PS4 era.

It is a fact that people only play PS5 games once or not at all when buying the FIFA/Fortnite/liveserviceslop console. That is why they go for so cheap later.
PS5 games simply have no replayability or worth as games.
Nintendo knows their games are desirable which is why they can sell even older games with full price. Would I like if they sold for cheaper? Fucking duh. But if your game is worth just like $15 after few years, is it really that good of a game in the end? Do people even wanna play it, or is some award bait etc.? Is it just an exclusive* for exclusive sake so people have games to look forward to while playing multiplats? No normal people buys PS5 for PS5 games, but because it's a habit. Just like buying same brand cheese, butter, or ketchup etc. food products.
I will give it to Sony that their controller design is nice. Luved my PS1&PS2 controllers.
