Darkmoon is good, Moonveil and Carian are both trash. Carian has always been trash though, the Estoc with INT infusion has always been better and you don't have to deal with the terrible block R2s.

Oh that's fine then darkmoon was already my favorite of those three, one of the few times I really enjoyed using the moonlight sword after being very disappointed across my playthroughs of the souls trilogy with it.
NightReign is giving me gauntlet dark legacy night vibes with the boys. That game is growing on me more by the minute. Everything about it just looks like fun. I think its going to be a sleeper hit.

To me, spellswords always come off as mediocre mongrels and master of none. A swordman is gonna swordmanship better, a mage is gonna do magic better.
At least go full on mage with cloak, staff and orb.
