The cutthroat nature of the market ensures that you HAVE to have a steady stream of content your players enjoy or you die. Simple as. The margins on keeping that kind of content pace is thinner than you'd think until you become a giant like FGO or miHoYo. Yes, slapping big titties on girls is the tried and true method but you are also competing against the other 40 games that slap big titties on girls. It's one of the few genres that actually have to compete for players in an industry where most major developers have grown fat and lazy with their consistent playerbase and giant pool of normalfags that you can trick into paying $70 for a game they'll play for 5 hours.
