i've enjoyed wukong a lot, but some bosses were definitely too easy, while few of them were crazy hard
chapter 3 was definitely too long and Pagoda was one of the most annoying levels in a videogame i've experienced
overall a very good game, im planning on replaying it as well, but i have a lot of games on my backlog so i want to play them first, and when i upgrade my PC i'll replay it
it wasn't working very well on my 3060Ti, i had to use DLSS and lower lots setting, and it was stuttering a lot for me
that last fight was making my seethe a lot, i was close to just dropping the game. i hope they'll release a DLC

it was an amazing fight but i thought that megazord fight was going on for a little bit too long
also i've beaten Erlang in dishonest way using spirit that was glitching him making him not attack me for the duration so i could hit him for free, but i was so sick of trying to beat him, he took me many hours of tryharding and i still couldn't do it

also the most KINO fight was with that fat guy, Yellowbrow or something? and then he puts you into that purse or whatever it was and you fought with that other monkey, it was amazing

I played this recently, I was surprised how good it was. The combat is much better than Dark Souls games, you can actually be the cool boss dude yourself instead of having to just spectate a fight and wait for the boss to do a minute long combo before getting an attack in. Most of the bosses were abit too easy, that might be because of how powerful you can get, especially if you are adept at using everything you're given. I liked the atmosphere of the game, and the story was actually soulful, devs obviously cared about this game deeply. The game also looks absolutely stunning. It's sad that it didn't get the game of the year award because trannies were mad that chinese game was actually good, but I don't even care about that anymore, fuck em.

also am i the only person that never used Spell Binder? like you just said - game allows you to be badass and do some crazy shit when you use abilities, and idea of throwing all those abilities away just to have high attack damage and be able to only use that sounds wack as fuck to me

I only used spell binder on the final boss, you can sort of abuse it too, since you can still cast all the qi and might spells(the no mana "spells") before actually using the spell binder - which then disables everything.

The main problem with this game is that the transformations dont last long enough, so you just end up using them as burst damage.
I wish they found a way to make them last more and make more important to the gameplay as a whole.

I beat it twice on Steam right after launch, but never saw the true Erlang ending.
Repurchased it on PS5 a few weeks ago but I stopped playing after the Great Pagoda.
I definitely still want to see the ending, but I can't get myself to play any soulslike rn.

Couldnt play it without getting severe eye strain in around 30 minutes to an hour playing it. Otherwise its a fun game. i completed it and got both endings. But man they have to fix whatever bullshit was straining me.
