Alot of the shitty textures made their way over to the PS5. They fixed the infamous door, but the N64 radio and the fucking awful sky box of the undercity are still there.

That is 2-3 times faster than the PS4 CPU, even with the clock speed difference.

There was that chinese guy who did a full analysis of the custom Nvidia processor but his benchmarks are based on speculations of clock speeds and without the actual console's OS, so performance is obviously off the mark.

Switch 2 is on par with Z1 Extreme systems. Z1 Extreme struggles to maintain 30fps 720p with low settings at 25W TDP. Expect that level of performance for Switch 2 docked mode (it will be worse in handheld mode)

PS5 uses FSR like the Switch 1. PS5 Pro uses PSSR which is AI-based much like FSR3 and comparable to DLSS 2. Again, much like with DLSS, the applications are game specific and the application quality swings wildly from game to game as any PC gamer can tell.

There are only THREE (3) pre-rendered cutscenes in the entirety of FF7 Rebirth and that's not one of them.

FSR3 is barely comparable to DLSS, they may be similar but FSR has worse performance and more artifacts, even in modern titles that use FSR 3.1. From the patents, Nvidia helped to develop a custom DLSS version just for the Switch2.

I'm guessing a side effect of that is you actually need to dither foliage, reflections, shadows, etc because denoising wasn't implemented by default.
