Unlock a costume. They brought it up during the Direct but if you find a food joint while on the world map you can get a food item from there that gives that character a new outfit. The UI being fucked up though means it's treated as a new character slot

I'm actually pretty excited about Mario kart world. I still play Mario kart 8 regularly with friends and family and it's just as fun now as it was 11 years ago. I suspect it'll be even better. Nintendo has pretty good quality control on flagship titles so there's no way they'd charge $80 if it were just an okay game

10 hours is where it gets borderline, but there are plenty of good games that exceed it. I have, however, never played a game I would consider "great" that was longer than 20.

It has local multiplayer and infinite replay value, as well as years of content updates down the road.
