even though i have the files unpacked and steam is telling me i can play it, it gives me a steam api error telling me i need to be using an account with access to the game

DUDE wtf...i fucked up big time. I just bought the standard edition thinking it was coming out tomorrow. But it doesnt come out until thursday for the standard edition!??!?

There's art choices that haven't changed from the first game that still bother me. The whole killing an enemy loot pinata thing, why does the ammo look like holographic Mass Effect artstyle? If the Doomguy is creating ammo out of pure rage or hell power or whatever why doesn't it look infernal? The other huge gripe is the dark/wet/skinless look of every single enemy in the game. They're demons, but there should at least be some color, its a video game.
