Why do people shill this piece of shit here?
Why do people shill this piece of shit here?
huh?
It's cheap and works for long enough to justify its cost.
no N-key rollover
It's shit.
This is my first time seeing this on Anon Babble
OP probably meant to post this on Anon Babble. They love that keyboard over there.
what do you have against office keyboards BITHC i'll bash your head in with the thing if you know what's good for ya
It's because they do their shilling covertly. If you aren't seeing a tranny keyboard then it is always this, 100% without fail.
They're over priced for cheap keyboards and objectively shit for gaming. See You're paying twice as much for a Logitech logo.
No I meant to post this here.
You're just a shill who desperately wants people to not notice your shilling.
Buy a fucking ad.
show me the cheapest black board that isn't a complete pile of doggy doodoo
paying twice as much for the same shit with a corporate logo
Do you also buy "Republic of Gamers" shit?
no i have a mech but thx for the rec <3
nostalgia fags
it's cheap
No it's not, it's double the price of keyboards that have more buttons.
it is $5.
I like my expensive custom lubed one I built because it feels premium, has lasted 3 years, and sounds really good still.
If I'm going to be using something for a long time like a chair, bed, pc etc. you bet I'm paying top dollar to make sure its good quality and lasts.
It's $15. Stop lying.
i am using one right now i think they managed to cheap out on it even more than one i had before it just doesnt feel the same
Going from mechanical to analog keyboards was a nice upgrade, games felt more responsive.
I used membrane keyboards for years growing up, you don't want to go back to that.
analog
wtf do you mean
Unironically nothing matches the typing feel of a K120 and I have used hundreds of keyboards in my time (I'm a PC repair technician). It just fucking works.
I've been using the same keyboard for the past 20 years and it's the fucking goat. The Dell SK-8135 with a wrist ramp
uuuuh videogames?
The keyboard and mouse, or desktop computer?
i have one, i also have the microsoft counterpart, that said i am currently using pic related
razer.com
Key press registers at 0.4 mm for me instead of pressing the key all the way down, you can customize it with analog keyboards.
I'm a fucking retard, why would you want this? I don't get it.
do you play osu! or something, you fruity faggot?
/thread
Membrane > mechanical shit
Don't fall for the mechanical meme, unless you enjoy key chattering. There's a reason we moved away from mechanical crap. Zoomers wouldn't know. The same ones buying stupid ass early 00's digital cameras or vinyls and Pokemon cards.
Is there a nkro membrane? Genuinely just curious
Why would you pay $20 OP's keyboard when you could pay $5 for any other membrane keyboard?
because piss
my keyboard says compaq
ps2 connection, just werks
are ergonomic keyboards any good? theyre all membrane but its good enough for gaming
(mechanical keyboards are a meme)
No, but playing emulated, non-analog input games requires simultaneous WASD and numpad/JKIL inputs. You lose a ton of those inputs without N-key rollover.
It's cheap and it does the job if all you need is typing and playing FPS games with kb/m. I can kinda see the appeal but would never buy one because I don't want to use a controller for everything else just because my keyboard sucks.
this, a k270 or 120 with n-key would be the perfect keyboard.
as it stands though i have genuinely never had a better typing experience. its dogshit for games tho
n-key what? what are you talking about
It feels nice to use. But I'm not great at typing with it, well I prefer my Dell Latitude to most keyboards.
btw did you know that PS/2 ports on modern PCs are actually PS/2 -> USB adapters?
rollover nigga
I've been using the same Compaq SK-2085 for close to 20 years.
It just werks.
Plus it has a dedicated sleep mode button that's really nifty, if and when I upgrade I need something with one of those.
Getting uppity about membrane keyboard brands is like arguing over hanes underwear vs fruit of the loom, who gives a shit.
they cant afford the wooting kino
It's not cheap, it's $20 in a world of $5-$10 keyboards. You're paying more for less.
i'm not shilling
it just werks
you don't need more
yo I coulda sworn that was a butcher's knife before I opened the thumbnail
That applies to literally any fucking full size membrane keyboard
Certain keyboards can only read a set number of key presses simultaneously for particular keys, after which any further key presses are no longer read. Keyboards with N-key rollover bypass this issue, meaning you won't get dropped inputs if you, say, press U while W and J are already being pressed. Assuming your keyboard lacks N-key rollover, you can clearly see this limitation by pressing random keys together on this website and looking for dropped inputs:

i prefer Athletic Works, theyre the only brand i can find that makes packs of all black (no mixed grey/black) briefs with zero branding on the waistband or anywhere else. they're cheap as shit but you get what you pay for. fortunately it's easy enough to get a new pack after 3 or 4 develop holes in them. i think i've got like 24 right now? maybe 22, idk. they're very comfy and make my package look huge, but maybe that's just my package haha B^) just kidding. they're awesome, way better than fruit of the loom or hanes.
a mechanical keyboard that feels good and sounds nice actually makes sense. its almost like getting a chair thats comfortable except making your chair comfortable is arguably more important.
Fair enough, I haven't been on the market for keyboards in 10+ years and dirt cheap chinkshit wasn't as readily available back then.
This is wrong, the super I/O that comes with PCs never dropper PS/2
Close enough since the guys who use wootings usually have axe wounds.
he got scammed
LMAO
I've been using this thing for the past 15 years on and off, and it's still going strong. I tried switching to a Model M recently but it's a bit too bulky for my tastes.
You are the one who bought a branded keyboard for twice the price, tranny.
you will never be a woman by the way
i agree, logitech is a scamming company.they probably manufacture there stuff from india cuz after 2-3 months it breaks apart.
it just werks
Not gonna lie, rollover actually matters if you're doing anything even remotely fast-paced or gaming. Ever tried doing combos in a fighter or macros in an MMO and half the keys don't register? PS/2 still has the edge in raw NKRO without needing tricks or polling workarounds like USB does.
But dude my mechanical keyboard with faggotcherry 9000 switching with the rubber dildo addont SOUNDS and FEELS so good to type
It's usually called anti ghosting. Gaming membranes figured this out decades ago (and are still the best keyboards to this day).
Logitech is the cheap brand...
dunno but I have a K270 and it's just nice
i agree that the keyboard is good ehough but osu core game doesn't need nkeys. you are talking about the piano or some other rhyme game
mechanical keyboards are for trannies
brother, it's a generic logitech product, it's cheap and works but generally pushed by poor, lazy, or insecure people worried about what others think of them
Why would someone who worries about others' opinions push a basic bitch 15 dollar keyboard like it's something to brag about?
Come home, White man.
Cheap office keyboards are unkillable. Like, really. 15 years later they still work.
Meanwhile you'll get key chattering/double typing in 6 months with your shitty mechameme Keychron.
the cheap Microsoft office keyboard I bought for my first self built pc almost 10 years ago still works, but the keys are all mushy and it's not really a comfortable thing to type on
ENTER
contrarianism
Because that's literally how pressing a key should feel, and it's not 300 eurodollars.
I still do not understand how turbo-mechanicalggers brainwashed themselves into thinking keyboards should feel and sound like a cheap typewriter.
Logitech got so close making a good product with the G815/915. Low profile keys that feel like their turbocheap keyboard ones, with N-key rollover and media keys. Oh it's all good UNTIL some keys start chattering and you can't change them because they're some proprietary bullshit.
you realize osu has more than one game mode
it's more to make the mech owners seethe because they paid 10x the price for a marginal upgrade
Are the mechanical keyboard fags on the same level of brainwashed by tech cults as audiophiles?
kill it
buy or steal another one for free
I prefer this model over the console garbage of charging $80+ for some chink made piece of shit. With a keyboard you get a satisfying crack when you wallop a road sign with it.
I unironically prefer the laptop style keyboard over normal ones
what are some good chiclet desktop keyboards?
I think I threw out this exact same piece of plastic a few months ago and replaced it with another lg junk
it's just a cheap keyboard what's the big deal? you don't need gay lights or noise from the keys.
I think it's some boomers that thought Commodore 64 (actually a hybrid switch keyboard) was the end all be all, and the rest jumped in.
I just LOVE the hustle and bustle of my carpal tunnel from the high set keys and using my computer in 2 minute increments before my fingers get tired
typical user doesn't have 6th grade reading comprehension
At my work it was the best of the cheap office keyboards they had. Still was not very good, though.
The premium version of membrane keyboards is Topre (electro-capacitive rubber domes). They're the best keyboards in existence, but also cost x10 times as much.
