Well it's more than just Mario. They have third party games like cyberpunk at launch that will run better than on the deck. They have a DK game coming out in July. A metroid game out by the end of the year. Monolith and Fromsoft are working on exclusives right now for it, and their will be an extensive library of gamecube games that will include online multiplayer modes. If you did any form of actual research, you would know this as well already, but you are just here to shitpost and gaslight.

I've only ever run into issues on things my Big Black Deck simply isn't powerful enough to run well, or on Prototype which doesn't like CPUs that have more than four processing threads. The latter was fixable and didn't take very long. (It's fixed on Windows, too, for that matter.)

The Switch 2 only costs $338 to produce, they could have made it stronger and only charged $50 more than they current are while still selling it at a small profit and that would have been a better machine for consumers that wouldn't have to see third party support fall off, yes. Instead Nintendo tried to get $100~ of profit on each unit sold whereas the other console manufacturers typically sell a loss for the first year or 2. Except in Japan where it is $330, which is a fair price for the console consider they're raising the price of software by $10.
It's insane that having less games to play is something that people will defend on here despite having to pay a premium to do that. At the end of the day, graphical output does matter.

The I/O shield isn't making contact with anything it shouldn't be and it gives me the same error whenever all USB is disconnected, so I'm guessing a capacitor went bad or something because otherwise I dunno and it's just fried. Random chance, shit happens, motherboard lasted a good few years.

This is probably possible because the Switch 2 CPU is twice as fast as the PS4 CPU (not saying its good, just that the PS4 CPU was this horrible).
However emulation is a can of worms because the extra frame rate would break physics and all that, so it's probably not happening at all.

Undertale is a copy of the earthbound style (that is comparatively ugly to other games on the platform like FF6 or chrono trigger, or even zelda LTTP)
Off is a deeper game than 99% of NES and SNES games. You putting it in the same sentence as Undertale is nothing short of sickening.
GPU clock and power consumed while docked means that part of the chip is taking up the most power and the CPU can't get as much power without spiking the power so the CPU has been downclocked opposed to what it can do at that power envelope. Not a problem in handheld so it just runs at that speed it was intended to.
That being said, this should've been the one thing that Nintendo should've prioritized more and it's the biggest gap that Nintendo has vs 9th gen consoles from a hardware disparity perspective. If you look at an equivalent mobile SOC like the 845 and see how it fares on mobile phones, it's already being listed as the minimum spec for gatcha games like Arkknights. I have no doubts developers can get mileage out of it but I have doubts on how much uptake and how much developers will do it considering the "laziness"/profit incentive to not optimize.
