I did, rolled credits at like 20 hours cause I was bored of the repetitive side content ala Breath of the Wild. Even with the extra years to see the problems, they ran right into them

I won't disagree but its not a high bar, and I think within 5 or so hours you've seen most of the enemy variety in the game. Each region added 1 new thing IIRC, and the mini bosses were recycled. You were pretty much just limited on skill points to unlock all the extra moves, and to be fair its cool that some of them like the dash and rising spear one are used in some puzzles.

Really think if it wasn't a BOTW clone, and was just a stylized, monster focused AC Odyssey 2 it would have done better.

I did. It was alright. It is the definition of a 7/10 game where it is not bad, but not great. A time waster. It reminded me a lot of Kingdoms of Amalur. Just the kind of game you play over the course of a long weekend and then just kinda forget about until it is brought up.

It depends on if you're ok with playing white noise video games just to have something to occupy your time, or if the very thought gives you hives

The game is basically what if Ubisoft made Breath of the Wild.
So it is less freeform and open than Breath of the Wild, but DOES have better combat. The puzzles and world are less creative but there is more structure. There is an actual story (BotW/TotK do not have a narrative), but it is 100% tongue-in-cheek marvel-quip tier stuff that is a little funny like 15-20% of the time, annoying like 15-20% of the time, and the rest is just whatever.

For what its worth if you get the game on a big discount and you like open world games you'll probably enjoy it for a little while. it just ends up getting repetitive near the end but this is the kinda game I doubt most people finish. You get it for $10-20, you play for 10-20 hours and then just don't ever turn it back on.

I did play it. It was alright. The snow mountain was annoying and convoluted. I gave up on Chink DLC because it was just more of the same. The combat was kinda fun with keeping stamina up to keep uptime. The cunny wasn't worth it.
