For any IDs, you can dispense(get freely with crates) whoever you want as long as they weren't from the direct season before the current. ie in Canto 8, we can dispense 1-6 and 8, but not 7. There are special event characters in a Walpurgisnacht event even three to four months that follow their own rules and are the only real reason to roll. I didn't mind Ruina back when it was updating. I thought deckbuilding was a misstep, but the director had shown willingness to experiment with different genres, so I thought we'd get something fun eventually. When LC-B and LC2 were unveiled, I thought that the Ruina arc was over and was happy, so I never bothered shitposting.
Then Limbus was revealed to be a gacha. And facing delay after delay, with no new game in sight, the frustration eventually boiled over to Ruina too. The 4/10ina thing is mostly shitposting, I think it's a decent 7/10 game, maybe even 8/10. I just lament that we got it after the 10/10 that was LobCorp. It also feels as if all the story elements I dislike in Limbus had their start in Ruina.
Anyway, can't speak for the others, but I can guarantee that Ruina shitposting will die down when we get a new game. I'll continue to shit on Limbus though.

For me, Lobcorp's actual gameplay was something I could only stomach once. The experience as a whole was transcendental, and the gameplay being as it is was an essential part of it all. But if I had to put up with another game where the actual gameplay was that awful, I would've probably had to tap out. I don't have any bias against deckbuilders, and I really enjoyed the actual mechanics of Ruina- clashing is fucking fantastic and it's a sin that more turn based games haven't figured out anything like it. And the story was largely an exploration of what the City around Lobcorp was like, and how the Seed of Light affected it. So to me, it was a breath of relief, getting a continued story and more unique gameplay without having to continue suffering in gameplay.
Limbus, meanwhile, is pretty alright. It's worse Ruina, but it's still in the vein of Ruina. I don't mind the delays, I think MD is pretty enjoyable even after many runs, but that may be autism and launch player-ism, since my teams are starting to get pretty fucking weird and that's part of how I'm still having fun.
I can't wait for DRH's release in 2028.

When you check the Container you can see that one's used in 11212 and another in 10912. Former means it's for Gregor's 12th Identity and second means it's also used for Rodia's 12th identity.
That's for the snake IDs and after checking, yeah you see the image used in the uptie 3 art, and after skimming a bit through the stories, the "gasichun" filename is fine. Gregor is sent to assassinate a member of Jia Xichun's part of the family so it checks out.
I'm not finding any places that show Rodia's uptie story online so I can't say if the thing's being used there and I can't really see their uptie 3 animations either right now so I can't see there as well.
All in all pretty unlikely that she gets Jia as an ID, it's probably just placeholder stuff but who knows honestly, it's not completely off the table.

As someone that has been around since the LC days, limbus being a gacha was a nuke in the entire community, even the most bootlicking side of PM was shittalking limbus and calling it DOA as soon as they saw the google play logo.
Launch was a mess because the tutorial sucked, there was no honeymoon period like every other gacha, and people got hardfiltered by an op as fuck boss in canto 2. Plus there was nothing to do past canto 3 besides farming MD that sucked ass in comparison to what we have now.
Eventually people figured out how generous the BP was, a ton of mechanics got changed and the game went from ass to what we have today which is still a massive downgrade in comparison to Ruina in terms of gameplay.

The first 2 parts were fun but the dungeon sucked ass, baba yaga has you said was garbage, the twist on the casino being that the people in debt were just made to work in the mines and Rodya's backstory in general was extremely dull in comparison to every other wing and sinner.
At least they have sort of redeemed Rodya's backstory with timekilling time and other moments but it doesn't take away that the serious parts of her canto were just bad.
Would've been a great intervallo but as a canto it sucked balls, at least canto 1 had the excuse of being an introduction to the new fags and the sinners + a tutorial.

Familial Hierarchy and rank already extremely well-understood by anybody who isn't suicidally retarded, so someone like an upper-ranking Thumb affiliate can actually find proper compatibility such that his role could be anywhere from a competing Hierarch position to just being some top-ranking family member's bodyguard
This is probably the best we've gotten in terms of worldbuilding for a Canto Part 1. Lots of colorful characters right in our faces, but they're all expanding the setting with their involvement.
