Their test setup is bad. Windows was probably checking for updates while the unprotected version was being run. Settings for 60fps isnt a good check for Denuvo because its a CPU issue, you normally dont run CPU benchmarks with 60fps settings. Is the game capped at 60fps? I was hoping to do 120fps 1080p.
It's no capped. It says 140 fps without dlss and 300+ with DLSS on the release trailer

Then it shifted to performance and now recently people claim that games with denuvo can't be modded despite that literally never being the case for any game with it. They've been wrong at every turn. that's upscaled from 1440p. not a secret or anything. in native 4k it's only 30fps. all you do is set it to quality mode and that's what you would get.
You still can't really compare because on ps5 it's still somewhere between low/medium/high settings.

I'm on an expensive computer and could afford the game no problem, but I won't buy any denuvo games. Not out of any sort of principle, just because I don't trust that shit. I won't buy Helldivers 2 for the same reason, extremely invasive "anti-piracy" software that requires WAY more system access than it needs to do the job. You just know that shit is spying on you and selling the data.
