Oroboro went from being skeptical to loving it after playing the beta

Oroboro went from being skeptical to loving it after playing the beta

Turns out it has lots of story and quests

Welp, I guess Elden Ring 2 is real
Which of the leaked Nightlord bosses looked the most interesting to you? Augur for me

Fromdoubters btfo

I have no idea who that is.
Nightreign will flop.

Lol

he also said that Nightreign doesn't have a lot of replayability

grim

I'm more interested in this than I am Duskbloods. DB will be a good containment zone for the streamsIoppers tho so I'm glad it exists.

doesn't have a lot of replayability

literally how?
isn't the whole concept of it based around replayability?

they don't realize it already has announced DLC included in the deluxe edition and will be supported with new content. very fair desu, From has done a poor job of highlighting this

yeah that's how fromniggers look like irl

I mean yeah but even if it didn't. I don't see how it has less replayability than any of the mainline souls/ER games that you play once and then never again unless you're a huge fan or autist

What are the classes they've yet to reveal? Samurai and some sort of spirit summoner? I'd want to play as Jerren, a spellsword flamberge type of thing

If the game was not receiving new content Limveld would be the only biome, which regardless of how much you like the gameplay will get stale. I think for the asking price this is very fair and I already purchased the game, but I can see where people would be concerned

Its not Elden Ring 2. A load of people hate tedious boring roguelike shit like this game but love the Souls games. Roguelike games are literally all so pointless wastes of time.

It's cool that it actually uses pre-buffed movesets and fighting mobs will be more challenging in general, since it's something you will do.
I hope they don't listen to shitter and give it current Elden Ring speed and range to weapons

leaked

None, not even looking up anymore info about it until it's out and I can start playing it. I will just be playing Guardian.

Samurai and some sort of spirit summoner?

Yes

story

yoooooooooooooooo is that a ton of esoteric quest and item description word garbage that you have to piece 50 of to get some semblance of a story?
i fucking LOVE from! take my 80 bucks!

If the game was not receiving new content Limveld would be the only biome

Limveld will still be the only biome, because it's literlly perfect with its cliffs and verticality.
Anything else will be put within Limveld as special random areas

Do you have a single source for that?

that's cool, but I don't play souls for quests
I want dungeon crawling. If nightreign was chalice dungeon-esque procedurally generated catacombs I'd preorder.

Yeah for the price I think it'll be a great pickup.
I can't imagine I get any less than 50 runs before it gets stale. And I could easily see 100+ as well

What is the effective difference between generated hallways and generated landmarks pm an open map, does the tighter scale make it feel less samyley to you?
Genuine question because I have a lot of hours in chalice dungeons and am exited for this too

It won't flop but I still won't buy it

dungeon crawling is fun because of the mazes and traps and such
it's just not the same as an open world map

game comes out in less than 2 weeks

hour old thread

This shit's doa as fuck.

it's the elden ring fatigue, the DLC was just too much for many of us

be skeptical

get invited to an event like some kind of VIP

sudden change of heart

Imagine my shock

Closest thing to that is probably Wylder, the jack-of-all-trades guy.

What would you do if soul games finally advanced past swinging your weapon left to right at bosses ankles while casting true refined great heavy soul arrow 69?

90% recycled content game

sales pitch is a controversial og side mechanic

maybe i will pirate it day 1 if im bored enough

writing the shitposting scripts for when it comes out

no one cares, pirate vegan

retard

what a gross face
I'd watch the video if not for that thumbnail

It's the shit co-op mechanics and extremely low effort for me. This just looks like 3 dudes playing the game independently on the same RNG map, like there's no sort of real cooperation or team-play between players required. Everyone is just kinda there and wails on the same target. I would be extremely excited for ER co-op if they actually built some co-op levels and co-op specific mechanics into it.

Paid Bandai Namco shill thinks it's good wow

Stop using your brain anon, be excited and react!

20 year old MMORPG raid boss fight, the game

What can you even talk about when we already talked about everything already?

I'm sure that he was having a blast playing it

I played it for 15 hours without getting bored, and that was only with 4 characters and 2 preset map layouts.

Turns out it has lots of story and quests

The story in ER is complete garbage that even the devs don't give a fuck about, though.

If they didn't give a fuck about the quests in Elden Ring then they wouldn't have put so much effort into making sure every one was complete before releasing the game

they already have the best combat for third person ARPGs. Most devs can not for the life of them handle RPG mehcanics and action gameplay and you are lucky if they dont fumble both, like skyrim. Fromsoft is pretty good with both, their biggest weakness with elden ring is how damage scales and you are expected to keep up with vigor and if you dont you get 1 shot.
