This completely outclasses every From game before and since

I'm genuinely puzzled as to how people were able to get into Elden Ring after it, it's such a massive step down in every single respect

genuinely puzzled as to how people were able to get into Elden Ring after it

like sekiro is any good

huge input delay on purpose

dumb level design

dumb story

build system sucks ass

parry system sucks ass, you get more pleasure parrying on exp33 or stelar blade or any game with a parry system

sekiro is one of the most well delivered traps you can recommend to someone

Armored Core VI is better

It's not my favorite but it's definitely the best From game. Combat, atmosphere, narrative, characters, they all shine above the rest. I will however admit that Dark Souls and Bloodborne have better bosses overall.

0/10 try again harder

Mostly the setting, feudal japan is boring as fuck and elden rings art direction was on point, no one can deny that

Every single one of your points is wrong.

It's insane how this feels like it was just a random sideproject. No planned DLC no planned additions or anything. I think they only patched it 3 times before the retarded boss-rush mode.
Like whats up with that? It feels so bizzare. Another thing thats insane is all the love they put into everything, especially the envrioment and characters.
It really completly outclasses Elden Ring in every way no contest but apperently From doesnt care?

What? Elden Ring was just Dark Souls reheated in the microwave. Sekiro looks like nothing else.

I can't get into sekiro at all but love elden ring
Just don't care about jap slop

Wow dude greenfields

B-BUT THERE'S A BIG ASS GLOWING TREE DUDE

Wow dude 10000 crypts with weird glows

Sekiro was a weird game for me. Everything felt fine tuned and flawless but it just lacked the special oomph that makes a game unforgettable for me. I beat the game, credits rolled, and then promptly forgot about it. Ditto AC6. Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Elden Ring left a stronger impression on me. Also honorable mention to Lies of P which is just as good as the best of From.

It was boring and shitty.

it's such a massive step down in every single respect

People like making character builds.
Also people like finding that ancient artifact item that makes them OP so they can obliterate bosses.
Also most people dont like hard games where they have to actually learn mechanics and practice, they would rather overcome things doing the above if they can.

sekiro looks like every muh ancient jap game ever
would rather play onimusha

it's such a massive step down in every single respect

Lol, it's the complete opposite, even stealth mechanics are somehow better in ER than in Sekiro

Sekiro looks like literally every other depiction of feudal Japan. It does absolutely nothing novel with its setting.

retarded boss-rush mode.

a great feature they should have added in every souls game. you are retarded if you disagree.

Except sekiro predates all the others

Not really a fair comparison there, anon. Two different genres. Sekiro is an action game, Elden Ring is an action RPG.

Except it looks fucking gorgeous and Fountainhead Palace is one of the most beautiful locales in any game ever. Senpou Temple is also extremely beautiful.

It’s a gorgeous game. Criticize what you will, but the game’s aesthetic is 11/10.

elden ring is an ARPG, so technically still an action game. Comparing something means to talk about their similarities and differences btw.

sekiro is good but also overrated, both DS3 and bloodborne are better

no dlc is also a big issue, plus a huge lack of build variety

And Elden ring just copied landscapes from berserk and tolkien's
Are soulbabies retarded ?

maybe the game set in japan should look like ancient grease

Idoit

Mostly the setting

he didnt say why didnt you like it he said why didnt people like it. Setting isnt going to make fromsoft fans not play a game from fromsoft, most didnt like it because they didnt like the gameplay or lack of character building options.

Only things I missed from Sekiro when I played Elden Ring, was being able to wall jump and grab ledges.

Sekiro has better bosses, but playing ER for the bossfights would be a miserable experience.

It's their best, and it's not even close. Elden Ring looked very lazy compared to Sekiro when it came out. People who cry about lack of variety are morons who can't understand that due to the shallowness of ER, the weapon selection doesn't even matter. You're doing the same thing no matter what you use.

reddit meme game

i was really disappointed that elden ring used the dark souls combat
but the exploration and other aspects still make it a great game, even if the combat isnt good

i never beat charmless isshin... tried for multiple days and never did it... i am failure...

I didn't like the setting nor forced story. I still think Team Ninja did a much better job at the whole feudal Japan with focus on combat better. Bloodborne still remains their top dog. Nothing in Sekiro stood out besides the one note combat system.

Yep, way too many samurai/ninja games with the same setting. I can only tolerate one every few years.

I tried to play it but it wont recognize my gamepad on PC (Dualsense) regardless of whether I set it up through Steam, turn off steam support and run it as an emulated 360 controller, whatever... nothing works, googled it and apparently common issue. Shitty Jap PC programming as usual.

this game is cling clang souls. I like it and it's good but I don't think it's better than anything else they've put out.

Lo jugare cuando acabe con el primer jefe de Bloodborne

Because Elden Ring is an open world RPG and Sekiro is basically nu-Tenchu.

Do you genuinely know what, "tolkien" is even supposed to mean?

I like both Sekiro and Elden Ring. Kys faggot

That's blatantly untrue to such a degree that I'd be amazed if you could type it with a straight face.

I still think Dark Souls mogs any modern Fromsoft game til this day. Sekiro is a different case but it didn't click with me since I like more variety and slower combat with actual positioning.
