I hate these answers, and I'm speaking as someone who generally always tries to make a character I like the look of, and put a story to.
I know plenty of people who made goofy characters in Remastered that don't fit what you say at all. Some of them were even from my input while talking about it in VC. I'm not going to do it myself, but it can be fucking hilarious.
When did Anon Babble take Oblivion of all games seriously? Actual no fun allowed zoomers nowadays...
And in general, as long as it isn't a game that focuses a lot on your character as a serious person story wise (like Cyberpunk 2077 as an example) I see nothing really that wrong with making something that gives you a laugh every once in a while when they look ridiculous in a cutscene. Again, I will personally never be doing that, but I always encourage my friends to, because they're the type that'll do it anyway.
