There are two modes: quality = 30 fps and performance = 60 fps but one journo highly suggested to play with performance as there is hardly any difference an 60 fps is 60 fps

there are probably creative ways to solve the playstation pc dilemma especially now that xbox set the precedent with gamepass pc basically being the same as gamepass on xbox.
Unfortunately playstation is unlikely to do this as they are owned by an electronics company, fundamentally they are stuck being a console. Sony even quit their PC business 10+ years ago. they just are not interested in being in any sort of ecosystem.

DS really has a strange difficulty curve for players, you start out with shit and can barely move around on flat terrain but to be able to sprint up mountains in the snow or long jump off a cliff and land safely without damaging your deliveries you need to go hard into the game which turns off a lot of people

Their initial complaint is delivering stuff is too annoying, but as you increase your rank you can carry heavier items and improve your stability. As you increase prepper affinity you unlock better gear at higher levels which also helps with everything else, like mechanical legs, stability jets, chiral boots, power gloves, etc etc. It takes a special kind of someone to push past the first part of the game to get access to the real meat of Death Stranding gameplay. The story isn't that bad either, some say it's a little confusing but I didn't have any trouble following along with what was going on
