So in that moment, I had no idea what had just happened, until I had caught up, and turned my head back up to look at Karl, only to see his face buried in tissue, his face redder than I had ever seen. He had broken down in tears at that line of questioning. I legitimately couldn’t even believe what I was seeing, after how composed and confident Karl had been throughout the whole process.
