For me the problem with this interview is that it doesn't change the fact the game's writing is ass. The woke shit was just a symptom. The game was better when Vavra and the old writers were actually writing. KCD2 has only one of the old writers and the other two are literal fucking redditors, which explains why most the writing is so shit with only some good parts. It explains why Zizka acts like he's supposed to and then acts like a complete moron in other scenes.
It also doesn't change the fact that honestly, I kinda expected there to be minority characters, but it doesn't change the fact they were handled poorly.

But that's easily replaceable with another character and doesn't justify making most of the story worse off.

And the chroniclers described them as "speaking no language anyone could understand". There is no record of them being in Germany 100 years later. That's pure fiction.
