How do you even respond to that?

How do you even respond to that?

Gigachad move. You can tell she got wet.

I'm going to break your hymen

Shikata nai wa ne....

Gustave had it coming.

Proceeds to get chewed out for how stupid he is the very next scene

GustaveBros gotta take any small victory they can get.

I'm getting FOTM slop fatigue

implying did not have BBC

ngmi

He wasn't stupid, he was just really afraid for Maelle.

CHADstave is the only reason your whole party can get past the damage cap you fucking faggot.

I don't think this game is some random indie slop of the month. If you look up the company on Linkedin, you will see these corporate execs in suit meanwhile on the main website, they intentionally hiding these people and make it seem like a bunch of wholesome redditors running the company to push the narrative.

Are you retarded zoomzoom?
These are called business angels and every fucking company get funds this way.
Why would they put them on their website where they only feature the creative/dev team working on the game?

saar

when do I get to the meme boss fight that was getting spammed here
is that the final boss

Anon, if you think these random junior devs managed to put this game together without any senior advisors then you are dumb. There are corporate people worked on the project and made sure it look like something consummable for the general audiences rather than a low budgeted Concord ( this turd actually started out as an indie game ).

"I didn't think this suicide mission that no expedition has returned from was going to be a suicide mission! I must find this 16-year-old I irresponsibly let tag along full knowing she's likely to die too, so we can return home, and spend my last remaining months doing nothing!"

Nope. As Lune said, Maelle swore the same oath, too. Why let her join the expedition if Gustave had no faith in her abilities and would just be a liability to everyone?

"The future of Lumiere is more important than any individual life. When one falls, we continue."

Lune's got that drive. Without her, Gustave would've shot himself in the head the moment he arrived.

I like Lune a lot.
Before getting on the boat, she’s basically invisible and you can tell she hates small talk. But when shit hits the fan, shes the most visible person on the team. Real worker mentality.

Play the game and see

Prove it faggot.
Also I thought Netease funded the game according to you schizos, why then have business angels and private investors to fund it?
All your retarded narratives ain't working. The game is triumph. You lost. Accept it or suck my dick.

impure thoughts

Reddit dug into it and apparently the guys dad is head of some major investment firm or something.

Anyways none of that matters it's clearly a triple A game with triple A effort and *budget*. It was just made by a competent team that wanted to make a video game. That used to be normal. But the last couple of decades of triple a development has been slaves making garbage they don't wanna make for investors who don't even know or care what a video game is.

I think a lot of the hype, the non artificial bits anyways, is people hoping against hope that it will signal a shift in the way triple a dev works. And that the big companies like Ubislop and EA will go back to funding games people want to make. Or they'll die and new major publishers will take the field that do (which kepler has set itself up to be)

"I'll break the hymen protocol."

stopped reading here.
budget for the game is 20M at most. It's not even medium AA budget.
you guys are completely out of your mind.

The investors didn't have any roles in game dev!

X game flopped, it was all the investor's fault!

Which one is it?

the sad part is that half the dev team will likely leave because they were clearly overworked and underpaid to make E33. I don't think we're getting an encore performance.

investors don't have a role in any creative process as long as they hold a minority stake in the company and don't have any power in the board, which is the case at sandfall
it's pretty very basic business shit zoomzoom

You've got issues if you can jerk to that

i think the implication is having sex with her is the preferred option.

But the last couple of decades of triple a development has been slaves making garbage they don't wanna make

I believe this narrative has been debunked so many times. Investors can influence alot of things, but they never demand low quality products to make the company looks bad. Your boss always expect the best from you, not the worst. And by low quality, i'm not talking about the genre or the monetization, i'm talking about the game's engagement meter. Alot of dogshit AAA games have a very annoying story writing, uninteresting gameplay loop of their respective genre, have too many trannies and so on. Gamedevs can do whatever they want nowadays, the budget is generously given, the anti piracy security is stronger for a safe PC launch, technology is more advanced - Unlike "the good old days " when gamedevs had to chop off 30% of their product because the retail disc couldn't contain much and they work 12 hours a day due to the lack of employees.

tattoos

Ew gross no.

investors don't have a role in any creative process

They do. Not the indepth kind of creative process but they still demand simple, basic requests and the underlings must follow. If Star Citizen has taught you something, without investors, gamedevs have no creative vision and just shit out whatever they think it sticks.

no, i installed the nude mod.

theres a difference between "other expeditions failed at some point" and "our entire expedition got wiped on landfall". theres a difference between "maybe our expedition has the power to succeed" and "maybe just the 3 or 4 of us can succeed where entire other expeditions failed". he was pretty reasonable to have doubts, especially right after such an extreme trauma.

our entire expedition got wiped on landfall

Pretty unfortunate honestly because thanks to the Lumina Converter they likely could have won without Verso, the only problem is Gradient Attack bosses maybe killing a few people.
