Pick Levi or Abella if you want to play on easy mode, their traits and upgrades are ridiculously op especially levis with a shotgun because you don't need to go around looking for stuff to make the most out of him, just kill people in the overworld or shoot their limbs off with a rifle before engaging

also I really like fear and hunger but this game single handedly ruined the fandom for me and my will to create threads about it

heads are currency so you should collect every single one you can, also sleeping progresses time but there are other methods of saving that dont so if you want to get the happiest endings for everyone you should avoid it as much as possible until you've done everything you can.

RECRUITABLE DAY 1:
Abella:

Go as left as possible once leaving the train. Find a bunker and she'll appear. Simply allow her to join. Advancing time before this happens will moonscorch her.

Levi:

Find him in Old Town first. He's in one of the basements, specifically the house that you can actually sleep in on the main floor with a basement. He'll run off. Once you arrive in the city, he will be in the building directly in front of the city gates. Give him heroin and he'll join you.

O'saa:

Go through the city, past the ruins on the very left of said city, and find the forest. Honestly, probably just look up a guide on recruiting him since once you're in the forest, you have to go deep inside and squeeze through a crack in the trees.

RECRUITABLE DAY 2:
Daan

Find him in the moldy apartments, northwest of the city's entrance. If there is room in your party, he should be on the 2nd floor. Go up a floor and push the horse bust statue to the weak part of the room and jump down. He'll join you once you talk to him.

Marcoh:

On Day 2 Morning, go to the city entrance. He (along with Tanaka if he's still alive) will be held up by Pav. You MUST choose to fight Pav the moment you lay eyes on him. Don't try to stop him any other way, or Marcoh will be shot. Then, go down to the train. If Tanaka is still alive, wait until Day 2 evening and recruit Marcoh. Otherwise, he's available immediately.

Olivia

If Marcoh is alive, he will have brought her the wheelchair. If not, find the wheelchair outside of the building where Levi is recruitable. It should be right outside of it. Then, give it to Olivia and she will follow you around.

Marina

Find her in the bookstore. Tell her that you're going to the church and ask if she wants to tag along. She'll day no at first, but once you arrive at the church, she arrives and comes in with you.

Karin

Find her in the Prehevil ruins on the west side of the city. She'll be taking pictures. Simply talk to her and ask if she wants to come with you and she will accept. Note that the Mob can spawn here, and if they do, recruiting her will be a lot more difficult.

Just be careful if you pick Abella you will have to go for a while without a second party member.

Yep, 3 endings. Ending A is similar to Funger 1's ending A, ending B depends on which character you pick (though the requirements are always the same) and Ending C is the same as B requirement wise but lore wise it's way different.

Take your time with it, if you're struggling with just one dude the others a lot more recruitment opportunities will come in day 2

Marina is recruitable on Day 1 night as well if you killed the Gentleman at Day 1 afternoon

If you're not Levi, she'll leave your party after a bit. Playing as Levi allows her to be recruitable Day 1 though

When I last played I was playing as Marcoh with Levi in my party, and she stayed until the end of the game. Maybe you just need Levi in the party?

Karin and Olivia are better than Abella. Abellafags have SHIT TASTE
