The more people looked into it, the more it was revealed that not only was there a failure to set up most of the equipment needed to make the recordings he said he did, but that Billy also faked videos "showing" that he did or that he was playing on authentic boards. It was also noticed how Billy was able to submit scores without proper review, and referees he'd have at live events would include known corrupt cheaters. Compounded with his refusal to send in his own personal tapes to be further analyzed, people lost trust in Billy and called him a cheater.
