The only necros that don't sound great are the slashers to me. Most of them sound identical to me like the lurkers. The redesign of the models I think comes down to 90% fuck up from lazy mocapping and not touching the models up. Nicoles IRL VA looks far better than the granny model they went with. Also don't know why they didn't at least give Isaac some beard stubble. I mostly like the rewrites to the characters bar Hammond and especially Kyne. The new flamethrower at least makes up for it.

Honestly I feel like if they either had Chen stick around a tad longer, used Hailey instead, or even just a familiar member like Kendras brother it could have played alright. The problem I think comes from Chen still being a nothing character. I just don't know how people would be broken up about a coworker the same way they would be about a lover or family member. Unless the hidden woke is that Hammond and Chen were lovers.

DS2 is the one I'd be the most worried about a remake for. DS1 at least had real flaws that would need a tune up. And DS3 just needs a complete rework. I'd be perfectly fine if they just decided to go for a remaster instead. Clean up some muddy textures and make the DLC not eat up the store and you're good to go. They could also remake the DS mobile game or extend Severed, that might actually be cool.
