Post kino FE maps
Fire Emblem
Will you take the back route like a giant PUSSY or fight the pirates head on? Up to you.
"You're about to die. Scream if you must."
kino FE maps
The one you posted is too interactive; a kino map would be one where you spam end turn and a bunch of cutscenes play
I kill the map and grind the arena because I play the way I want to,not because of some gay ranking system.

oh my bad, here's some real kino for you sissies!
That really is the perfect map to fit that description, too funny. Tellius sure was silly. Having some story play out during battles was nice though, it's something the newer games don't tend to do too much.
yeah that's the exact map I was thinking of
I'll agree with you, but it does feel really good to wait until now to recruit Zihark and Jill to team Ike so that the DB maps aren't so miserable.
Also delays the kill counter a little.
Marriage with Marianne!
That's a nice thread you have there OP. It would be a shame...if someone were to throw authority stars(/spoiler) at it
Muscle Match with Marianne!
Thracia has some pretty cool maps. This one is one of my favourites, the whole set up of an arena in the middle being observed by the villains as you rush to desperately save your allies is just too cool, really gets the imagination going.
Bro just teleport and/or berserk reinhart
Doing this with Marianne!

Everyone talks about chapter 10 but this is my favourite map in conquest tbdesu
I always look forward to it
the whole prison break in Thracia is so cool.
How did you fags allow a clear bait thread to reach bump limit?
anon's first day on Anon Babble
hits pipe
bro like wat if bows had 1-5 range
Kaga, after one (1) hit of demure dwagon cunny
Agreed, always thought this map was underrated. The ice village map near the start of the game is also great and often overlooked too imo
want to play rev for some reason
remember the snow shoveling map
Alright, let's set the record straight.
That map isn't bad. It's a unique and actually fun gimmick so you don't rush and get someone killed for extending too far.
The issue is the deployment limit of 6.
Nah the gimmick is still tedious nonsense. The issue with alot of rev gimmicks is they mostly just waste your time instead of doing anything interesting
In general I think because of based and growth variance not being as high early on, conquest's early to midgame is where it is at its best. Everything feels very tightly tuned because the devs can balance the enemies around specific stat thresholds.
I do hope FE18's maddening/lunatic mode continues this trend. ISIS is getting quite good at designing maps that feel good to play

I usually just have Marcus and newly promoted Oswin hold that bottom half bottleneck ezpz

How would getting hit by a devil axe backfire even FEEL?
like you get hit by an axe but feel nothing and your opponent dies instead?
I always mooncalf. Anyone who doesn't is the big gay
Also, I never thought about it before, but can't you easily cheese the map by rescue dropping every unit in the isolated field around the 1 and fight from there at 2 range? Just don't get Florina killed to avoid the softlock, of course.
Testicular/ovarian torsion as they swing and they die form the pain
Probably like getting a electric shock through the arm that is carrying the devil axe. The killing blow is the equivalent of a heart attack.
Why exactly did Sigurd go on a purge again during the first half of FE4?
You mean you wouldn't accidentally conquer half a continent in self-defense?
I imagine it as the wing on the back of the axe swinging back at the user with the force needed to cause the exact same pain that was meant for the enemy. Meanwhile, a backfire would have the axe head be unnaturally flexible and soft when hitting the enemy, causing absolutely no pain whatsoever.
Snow shoveling can be done pretty fast depending on your action economy, and is also an autism check. You do not need to fight every enemy nor get every booster, you know.
As for the "slow" Rev maps, I feel like it's because they often have moving platforms and people don't optimize their turns to be efficient with them. For the most part, you do have a way of moving fast if you spend a bit of time thinking about it.
Self-defense is a good excuse in hindsight at such times. Sigurd probably could've pushed his luck beyond Jugral.
You want a map? I got a map right here, buddy.
Two Cavs, One Lord, and One Prepromote whose weapons you steal and ditch.
Let me guess, you need more?
While you're correct, the problem lies in the inherent conceptualization of the maps pre-Valla.
I mean it's Revelation where you're starting out with only three units with no strong relations to either of the kingdoms. That the gameplay difficulty isn't exactly reflected by those circumstances doesn't help the design.
the lower bases also makes the personals feel much more impactful to play around and more satisfying to use. vow of friendship is somewhat iffy to play around later on, but for earlygame it turns silas into an absolute monster that can take and deal punishment surprisingly well; i always use him to take out takumi in ch 10 due to his horse movement and generally impressive combat under VoF.
in general, while i am generally fine with conquest mid-late/lategame, i enjoy playing it much less than the period of the game you mentioned
What are you talking about ditching the Seth: Ephraim Version, anon? The prepromote is completely trustworthy, he even has growths! I'd suggest training him to max level on this map so that all the future maps with the four friends can be completed reliably.
