There isn't much they could add besides tempest, and these . To justify it's existance it would need to do something different.
1.) go to the future or in space, if they made a space ace combat like project slypheed it could be phenomenal.
2.) Make even more over the top super weapons and hyper drones. For example su-47 Vs a gundam. Make snoopy and the red baron look sensible.
3.) a prequel. Throw in all those 1950's to 70's proto-jets and concept planes for a different experience
I do want more Armored Core as well, yes. But I do like when Ace Combat embraces the more sci-fi stuff so it would be cool for them to focus more on that.

All those ideas are complete ass. But an Ace combat game with real WW2 planes and over the top enemy designs like in Strikers 1945 could be God tier.
So what's a good flight sim to play?
Macross Plus was pure, unadulterated kino. Honorable mention to Macross Zero.
I really hope the third engine is for energy weaponry and not for hypersonic flight
Flight sim or Arcade? Sim, DCS is king of course but you need the proper setup (HOTAS for example) and jet fighter 'tism to truly enjoy it.
It doesn't really make me seethe. It's just very, very unrealistic. It's still good fun though.

It has been around in the public eye for longer than you'd think.
The F-22 was meant to combat the newer Soviet jets before the USSR collapsed, and was originally designed in the 80's. The two YF-22 demo jets (along with their two rival YF-23 jets) were manufactured in the late 80's to early 90's.

But I truly enjoyed AC7, the missions were varied enough to be fun.
The F-22 Dominance Fighter "sim" launched in 1997, far before the F-22 entered in service. It was a pretty good game for the time, but of course it was far from being 100% realistic.
