-Aesthetically pleasing areas with fitting mood. This ain't about whether or not only dark and rain is "truly" cyberpunk, I want that sort of stuff because it looks cool and feels cool to be in. Fuck that bright and sunny California bullshit.
-Better voice direction and making sure that dialogue choice flow well between each other instead of making the MC sound angry in one line then instantly super calm in the next just because they properly worked on only one dialogue flow

A story that does not feel contrived, forced and awful. The gameplay was ok, characters a bit forgettable, but aside from the launch issues, lack of agency and garbage story nothing was unfixably bad. Make the game smaller, introduce more branching paths and have a possibility of reaching a happy ending and even I might play your game. After reading the plot spoilers to make sure I'm not sticking my dick in a wood chipper again.

I hope the main story involves joining or being the leader of a small gang (that doesn't get flatlined before the end of the tutorial chapter).
I also hope the main story just as straightforward as Phantom Liberty (instead of a wild-goose chase with the occasional cool cinematic moment like the base game). And no fake time limits if the devs can't be arsed to turn it into an actual gameplay mechanic.

If they choose to keep V as a protagonist I want them to feel like a true Legend of Night City. Now instead of all the petty shit you did in the first game, everything is a big heist or important client.
I think they shouldn't do that though. Definitely new protagonist. V's story is basically over, but some easter eggs about him might be nice. Canon Don't Fear the Reaper ending would be the way to go. Make V some distant Legend with rumors about him still spinning but not present at all.

The Half Dozen "Prototype" style weapons in Phantom Liberty were cooler then all the guns and "iconics" in the base game put together. Shadowrun is really fun and engaging to me, I've been playing the system since 3e and the lore hits that perfect blend of cool and retarded art the same time. Just gotta enjoy it for what it brings to the table and lean more to the mystic side of it. Try out Dragonfall sometime, it goes on sale pretty often and really nails what I like about the setting with Glory's side story and the way you can play it more of a straight shooter of you want to
