I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting it to top Vermintide 2 but that ship has sailed and only a total redo will fix that, something that most devs would never even consider.
As far as LMB simulators go Darktide isn't bad. 40Kclick is a decent addition to the headclick genre and while it's never gonna be considered one of the greats it's not like playing it is actively bad like something like Back4Blood or Earthfall.

Honstly i can't relay balme GW for that one. The roster, while small, was theamed around your units resurecitng in a rogue like dungeon, so Undead, SCE and Nurgle were good choices and the studio probably wouldn't be able to make many more assets while keeping some semblance of quality.
