What's the issue exactly? Just stick to the "good" version you enjoy. Nobody is forcing you to play the new content.

Everytime I play this game I become fucking pissed. Everything about it just pisses me the fuck off. The shitty music. The shitty graphics. The shitty sfx. Makes me so irrationally angry for no fucking reason. It's all so annoying. Seriously fucking hate this game. I would love it in theory since it's basically a sandbox game like Minecraft, except it's like it does everything in its power to ensure that only autists will enjoy it. Not even the bloat, just the artistic direction of it all.

Because I want to like it. It has everything I could want in a sandbox game, except it's not an enjoyable experience. The main song literally fills me with rage, it's so fucking ugly. I've tried looking for graphics overhauls and music replacers, but the graphics overhauls are only for Calamity or specific themes and the music overhauls are ass

Worst yet is the dev is going full autismo and keeps removing shit you used to be able to do. Its like every patch removes some element of the game you used to be able to do for a decade prior and in exchange you get some gimmicky garbage that exists to bait youtubers into making videos on the game again.

There's some parts of the bloat argument I agree with. Mostly because structurally, as you progress through the game, each section of progression is usually handled by the most meaningful weapon you have. By bad example in this case, why would you use a ball-o-hurt over a muramasa? You can say just to fuck around and have fun, sure, but what do you actually use in a bossfight? You're gonna go for the most efficient thing.

There needs to be structural extensions to progression, alongside changing when some items are obtained. A new class would help too to put items to use and reclassify and buff some. They're finally adding prefixes for summoner gear so why not go full bore and fix the games more ignored items? Nerfing the good ones isn't the answer, tho its a easier one.

Clearly it seems nobody else that enjoys this game has experienced what I'm experiencing. I was hoping venting my frustrations here would have someone go, "oh dude, you just need to download x and x mods, I also hated the artistic direction, now I love it". I'll just uninstall the game.
