Playing this for the first time again today, when does it stop being so interesting? so far it's an amazing game with genuine and passionate writing and I'm enjoying myself way too much

remember you don't ACTUALLY get the same ending depending on whether you failed or succeeded at getting to Theodora
yes you still get to stop the smoke machine and get back to the hub, but it's implied that the ending where you succeeded is real, whereas the one where you failed is simply the old genie's broken body showing you a vision of what you want, aka what would have happened IF you succeeded

meaning it's likely that you're still there in her room and didn't actually progress

so i'm really hoping that if you didn't get the proper ending, the next chapter or perhaps the final one reveals you still stood there in front of her broken corpse and revealing none of it really happened and you ultimately failed
