Finished my sky bridge, now it's time to do some top layer spelunking. First blood moon is coming. I hate worrying about corruption spread in this game because I just wanna mindlessly fuck around.

There is no reason to play any class other than melee.

I was working on my elevator to hell but keep ending up getting distracted exploring caves. There is a Better Caves mod that opens up caves and makes basically the entire map explorable structures.

that's the fun part of the hellevator. you don't have to rush through everything, so just enjoy the exploration

The most annoying part is getting specific Corrupt Biomes, and then trenching those up too.

Not really there yet, 15 hours in and still haven't found hermes boots. Just got good enough armor to get into the caverns without getting killed immediately.

I always dig straight down as far as I can until I get easily killed by monsters then dig up diagonally. You get lines straight to the best loot areas in pre-hardmode. The game completely changes in hardmode.

I don't think summoner is good for calameme, if you'll do a thorium run later, I can recommend summoner. There's another mod called Amulet of many minions, that adds a few other summons. Had a lot of fun playing summoner in thorium + that mod. Enjoy

I'm just saying that you are capable of overcoming whatever obstacle in this game if you are white or asian and it is much more satisfying. You are only cheating yourself.

It's good, I had fun. My biggest gripe with calamity was that the bullet hell stuff just isn't fun until mid endgame when you get those movement accessories that are actually decent for that level of projectile spam.
