I bought this game for like 4 bucks during the sale recently and I immediately had geometry glitching and textures disappearing nonstop as I ran around a pathetically small map, then I looked and noticed how old this game was and realized it's probably been this buggy and shit since it released and they just never fixed it.
I could not believe how tiny the map was compared to the original games.

I've been playing a bit the past couple of days. Had a bit of fun, but also strongly reminded why I stopped playing 5 years ago. It's a poorly balanced game with terrible shooting mechanics and is full of cheaters. The heroes are overpowered garbage that ruin most matches too.

Just play Fortnite instead.

A lot of times I feel powerless. Sometimes the enemy steams stacks up 2 or 3 heroes and rush a point. What am I supposed to do as a regular as assault droid.

Yeah either that or make it so that heros need to kill in a ratio 5:1 if they want to tick down tickets.

Random and a time limit is the way to go. 99% of the time the hero player is a cheater too, so they just turn on invincibility and don't die the rest of the match.

Well, certainly the ones made by DICE at any rate. The Frostbite engine is so deeply compromised by hackers at this point that no amount of anti-cheat will ever stop it. The Battlefield 6 pre-alpha playtests have already had the same kind of cheating in them. It's beyond cooked, it's burnt.

Thank you for the shilling because I finally installed the free copy I got years ago and had never played it and I clicked quick match and instantly got into some supremacy game and I killed a lot of robots on some planet and then we took their ship and now I'm going home to bang the fuck out of my spoils of war robot bride

It's absolutely dumbed down Battlefield but the pewpew guns are fun, it's gorgeous, it runs great, and I'll enjoy this brief window when people are playing and there are a lot of complete retards like me that don't know what the fuck we're doing

Because it attracts the saltiest and sweatiest tryhards imaginable and basically turns the game into a moba/Overwatch. Not to mention it's where the faggots who hog the hero during entire Galactic Assault/Supremacy matches go to level them up. The mode used to be a lot more fun before they ruined it (it used to be objective based rather than a shitty team deathmatch, but the toxicity was even worse so DICE caved to the nonstop temper tantrums that filled the subreddit and official forum over it)

I'm really enjoying the co-op. The few multiplayer games I played kinda sucked but co-op is kino.

Theres tools for every class to do something about heroes, it's just that no one uses them. Stinger pistol can be a nightmare for heroes by drastically delaying their HP regen time which forces them to retreat. Never see it get used ever though. The repulsor canon never gets used either even though it can knock someone on their ass for a good amount of time, but it also requires your teammates to not have shit aim and actually capitalize on what you're doing. Officers have flash grenades that won't do much against an experienced player but they can screw over a hero that mindlessly throws themself at a group. Really the best way to counter a hero is to just to stick with a couple competent players, good luck finding them though lol

I think they were added post launch? It’s 1 gun for each of the core classes and it’s only 50 kills to unlock it so you’ll unlock them in like 1.5 matches.
