Does steam really need to publicly shame people for being banned from games?
Does steam really need to publicly shame people for being banned from games?
You know the rules OP
yeah us why you got banned so we can laugh at you
After a certain amount of years it won't be seen on your profile by others.
it's like when ur a fag and you get marked, sucks to suck you loooser
yes
fuck you
Aw, what's wrong, don't like being exposed?
Yeah, people who committed certain crimes need to be branded as a warning to others to both not commit the same crime as well as to be wary of the branded.
Hey! I've been banned everywhere BUT Steam... And Google services.
cheat in the game
inventory gets locked, losing thousands in skins
THIS is the fucked up part
PoV you are about to make a thread on Anon Babble about how steam ruined PC gaymin
why is it fucked up to have consequences for your shitty actions
play game how you wanted
money stolen
It's immoral to mess with people's money
It does go away eventually but it took like 20 years for my friend, lel. After CS:S came out, he just used 1.6 for hacks until he got banned.
That's what you get for cheating, retard.
true. that's why God invented skin color. the darker, the more criminal .
Consider that money your individual Idiot Tax. It's what being banned costs you, personally.
it gets hidden after 7 years I believe
you can still see it when logged in but nobody else can
You know the rules OP
and so do I
Does steam really need to publicly shame people for being banned from games?
Yes, shouldn't have cheated like a bitch
GWAK GWAK GWAK YUMMY GABEN BALLS GWAK GWAK
Sorry, could you repeat that?
you agreed to it, so it is not immoral in the slightest
your actions are immoral, and you are being punished for it
Look, if the money really mattered to you, you would try to avoid being banned so your money isn't wasted. But I think we both know that it's not actually about the money.
It's immoral to cheat, you deserve to lose everything
Thats why you shouldn't be using a DRM platform!
100 more days till i reach the legendary 6969.
( yes, i used aimbot on Counter strike 1.6 when i was a kid )
Cheaters should be named and shamed, it's the closest to public executions we have in modern era
So you agree with Nintendo being able to brick consoles that try to modify it right?
lost ark releases
try it out
an hour passes
"wow this game sucks"
uninstall and forget about it
like a year later
game gets a banwave of cheaters
it seems to target a lot of inactive accounts
mine gets hit
have this gay mark of shame on my account for playing an hour of a boring skinnerbox korean game
I'll hand it to amazon though, their support was on point and got it removed quickly, still burns my balls when I think about it though.
try running a game on Linux
built-in malware detects it as tamering
your account now bears the mark of shame forever
Yes.
wow what a nice and fair system that's 100% flawless
make a console with a vulnerability that can be accessed with a fucking paper clip, unironically
decide that instead of fixing their dogshit products, they want the ability to brick hacked consoles
It surprises me that Nintendo has fallen to the point of no longer being known for good quality shit. Then again, they're currently suing Palworld into the ground, so I shouldn't be surprised.
I'd never heard about anyone getting an improper vac ban for something like that, other than a surprisingly large amount of people using cheat engine in left 4 dead but I guess I wouldn't until it happened to me since I hardly ever play multiplayer games.
No one is forcing you to accept their rules, and if you don't like the rules, you have the option to simply not play. But your problem is that you want it both ways: you want to play, but you don't want to follow the rules. You believe that the rules should not apply to you. That you are above actual consequences.
VAC ban for non valve game
???
It's a game ban, not VAC
I used a level up cheat on black ops 2 that would give you 1000x more xp per kill, people talk like that game was one of the classics but it was a total slog to play.
Campaign sucked too.
You're lucky Valve only hands out scarlet letters, if it was up to me you'd be in a pillory.
its invisible to others after a certain time.
Yup just like when people commit crimes in real life
